N/A Shower was cramped. Bidet overflowed. Light above sink did not work.

Mattress are too soft and you can get bad back ache from this

Close to the train station and close to the downtown without all the hustle and bustle. Clean place and easy to get in and out, staff was friendly. Bed was super super hard, there were so many mosquitos so if you wanted to open the room so it wasn’t stuffy it was horrible there would be so many mosquitos it drove me crazy. Shower didn’t drain well when in use either.

Although breakfast was not provided, the accommodation was in an excellent location — just a short walk from the train station and close to many main attractions. During my stay, I accidentally left an item behind, and the nuns who manage the place were incredibly kind and helpful. They promptly arranged to have it sent to my home, which I greatly appreciated. Their honesty and thoughtfulness made my experience even more memorable. include breakfast

We loved the location, such an easy walk from the station . It also felt calm and relaxed and was very quiet. The breakfast was great and you can also leave luggage if you have an early arrival or a late departure. The sounds from the chapel ?? Nothing

The location is close to the train station. I did not dislike anything. I did my research and knew it was a Nunnery hotel, it’s no frills, it’s comfortable, it’s affordable, and it’s quiet.

Location was great. Walking distance from train station and all the main sites in the city. Loved walking through Florence. The neighborhood felt safe with lots of dining options nearby. Has a lift/elevator, which is helpful with luggage. Very clean. Walls are somewhat thin, but we were very tired by the end of the night, so extra noise didn't inhibit our sleep.

Breakfast was continental at best, but hot water for tea was wonderful. The room was big and overlooked the garden which was beautiful. Very Peaceful. internet reception

Clean and friendly. Simple rooms just enough to get rest and wash. The property was authentic and had rustic beauty. It is not posh. But we were not looking for that.

Disappointing

Breakfast was excellent. Location practically city centre, walking distance with options close by for coffee or shops and mini markets. Garden very nice to walk through though obviously in March not as nice as Summer time but smoking tolerated n the garden. Chapel also a nice quiet place to sit..Rooms were spacious and very clean, extra covers and air conditioning..kitchen facilities great ? Hospitality in terms of chat and friendliness a little lacking but English spoken there. Same nearly everywhere in Florence!

The location next to the station for a quick stop in Florence, the room was clean (yet very basic and modest) The room I got was not like in the picture…

Lovely Sisters at reception and on phone; all very helpful and kind in giving information on arrival and help with early/late baggage storage; the lift was a huge help for large luggage; the access to kettle and fridge on the guest floor was a great asset; lovely garden and peaceful chapel both available to guests. The heating system, which was a modern aircon unit in the room, was a bit confusing to operate - or maybe it was on a timer? It was not on at night, but was very strong in the morning. That could be a) an issue particular to the room I had, or b) the timer system which was already set, or c) my misunderstanding of the remote control operation? But- I was still comfortable with the extra blanket provided, so it wasn't a huge problem, just a slightly curious inconvenience. I did not bother to ask the reception for advice, which I'm sure they would have provided. But, the problem was resolved by the morning, when the heat was functioning! :-)

Basic room value for money for one night stay. Not far from station walking distance, so suited me. Everything worked well.

Very clean, very comfortable. Location was nice and quiet tucked away but near to station. Felt very secure, the courtyard at the back is lovely and peaceful. Signage really poor - makes it difficult to find. Lack of soft furnishings means it’s noisy in a morning as people move around corridors etc. Information at check in was a bit sparse - didn’t get told anything about breakfast availability for example.

This is an efficiently run establishment. My room and the shared kitchen were spotless. My room was bigger than expected and had a very high ceiling. It had lovely french doors which opened onto a balcony overlooking the garden. The ensuite was long and narrow, very clean, and had a window. There was a heater in the room and it worked well. The location is great - the airport tram stop is nearby, as is the train station, and the major attractions. The nuns at reception were polite and efficient though rather disinterested. They were great about allowing people to leave luggage for a couple of hours. The whole place was very quiet. I was a little disappointed in the garden. I think it needs work. It probably looks better in the summer. My bed could have done with some padding - I could feel the springs. Nonetheless, I slept pretty well.
