Balcony

The hotel has a nice terrace with a partial view of the dome, however not ? allowed to sit there during lunch nor dinner - it was basically almost always closed. There was a note in the room that said forbidden to eat in the room - this seems very intrusive in the tourist's life, what if I'm a constant snacker? A middle of the night muncher? And the tourist tax - apparently it is at the discretion of the hotel to demand it be paid in cash only. What if I love my credit card rewards & miles? Well, I certainly do! I'd skip this place if I'm looking for a nice home away for a few days in Florence.

The breakfasts were only okay.

- Great location, a few minutes walk to both the main sights and the tram to the airport - Excellent restaurant right next door - Breakfast was a bit limited - No elevator (but also not too many stairs)

Great location and staff is very good

Great location and very welcoming staff. They recommended a great restaurant next door and gave us a map to help us get to the places we wanted to see. Since Florence was experiencing a heat wave we especially appreciated the air conditioning! The room was very small but it had everything we needed

The location was perfect. The stuff and the owners were very kind and very helpful I saw on the Booking site that the hotel is on the 1st floor or 1 floor. But there was no information that the hotel has 4 floors without any elevator. I ended up on the 4th floor. The site should have this information available to us. I can't lift anything heavy, and I ended up dragging my suitcase from the 4th floor down. When I checked-in, one of the owners helped me to bring the suitcase up.

Daily cleaning was spradic but forgivable. If we asje, we got it.

Everything was perfect!!

The hotel offered us a parking space that is not attached to the hotel for the two days we were there. It turned out that they used our car from the parking lot. We found out about it from the left uncleaned empty bottles and food packaging on the floor. Also the reduced amount of gasoline. This is unacceptable.

The location It doesn’t have a lift

This hotel is in a great location in historic Florence. We could walk there from the train station and to all of the sites we wanted to see. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby for eating - and you are just a couple of blocks from the historic La Doumo. The hotel is very clean and the beds very, very comfortable for us. No view from the room - and too may stairs up to our room. Would have liked to be on a lower floor.

The staff ( owner was very friendly ) and the position is really very good in the center of the city ! The rooms were small and they were not so clean ! The walls are thin and all the noises were heard from one room to another like we were in the same room
