Great location. Comfortable and clean. Responsive host. Small room and bathroom but contained all the essentials for a short stay. I didn’t realize that all the rooms required a 3 floor walk up. Glad I brought a smaller suitcase. Someone with lots of luggage might find it difficult to get into and out of the lodgings unless they were very fit.

The bed and pillows are uncomfortable and the top bed spread is stained. It woukd be nice if had some type of decor. It feels Prison cell like now. The a/c didn't work, or at least the remote didn't. Could be both. I'm not sure. If it was noted in the description that it was a 4 story walk up, I missed it.

Such a brilliant location!

Perfect location and very large room with all the facilities we needed! Host was very kind too. Lots of security felt very safe Lots of steps to get up to the property not ideal with luggage. Shower could have been more powerful.

The location is unbeatable it is situated directly besides the Duomo. This is in the heart of Florence. Even though the property isn't amazing its perfect just for its location. The property was amazing for its location. There are a lot of flights of stairs. I wouldn't advise this place for those with large suitcases and if they can't carry them about 4-5 flights of stairs.

Location was exceptional, literally next to Duomo Cathedral, walking distance to all of the main Florence attractions. Airconditioning was a blessing in recent heatwaves. Room was cleaned every day. Ventilation in bathrooom could be better, it was like having our own sauna in it. Building is really old, you can see it in the massive cracs on the walls.

It's within 10-15 minutes walking distance from major attractions. You can find grocery stores nearby. The staff is very friendly, rooms are kept clean. You get clear instructions on how to check-in to your room. Only outside noise I heard were the bells. The walls have USB ports, although charging a phone using them is pretty slow. Really appreciated having a fridge and TV in the room. The warm water pressure in shower could be higher, but it's no big issue. The WiFi didn't always work.

Loved staying in this place! The location was amazing- just around the corner from the cathedral - and the building was built in 1002!!! Amazing It’s worth being aware that there are lots of stairs to reach the place

Great location for 2-3 days trip to Florence May be you guys consider to change pillows. Pillows were flat.

The location so close to the Duomo and the main sights in a concentrated downtown in Florence - easy walking and we didn't get lost! Room was quiet, even though on a busy street with some cars etc. Hotel manager and room cleaners were lovely friendly people although we rarely saw them. Bed quite comfortable!!! Locked access - required use of the assigned number code in 4 places after entering the building to reach the room. Most reassuring!! I really have no complaints - great value, and location near the Duomo couldn't have been better !!

Great location Great room Great hosts Good price The water temperature was very inconsistent. The shower water would change back and forth between ice cold and super hot without us touching the temperature control. I'm guessing the temperature changed based on how much water people in other rooms were using. The wifi connection was very weak and would often lose connection and we would have to reconnect. This might be because we were in the room at the end of the hall, probably farthest away from the wifi router.
