Fantastic location - couldn’t be closer to the center of things Pillows were a little thin.

Laura was very helpful with our check in, very seamless. View of the Duomo out our window. Lots of places to eat and shop right outside our door.

Construction above and outside, so much noise.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Residenza del Proconsolo. The room felt very suite-like, with a comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax. The bathroom was a good size as well, though a bit on the narrow side. The location is truly unbeatable—right beside the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), and within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. We were able to walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, and Piazzale Michelangelo without any trouble—perfect if you enjoy exploring the city on foot like we do.

The Michelangelo Room was beautiful and this hotel was steps from the Duomo . Breakfast was a credit at a corner coffee shop next door. On the other side was an excellent but expensive steakhouse.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Laura was the most pleasant and helpful host. Communication with the property was excellent. The room was clean, well appointed, and the AC worked wonderfully (a much needed amenity in Florence in June!). The location was ideal. I would unquestionably stay there again. I have no negative comments about this property. It was everything advertised and Laura made it extra special. She did everything to meet our needs.

Location, service, cleanliness, snacks were fantastic. Laura thank you SO MUCH for everything-especially for recommending one of the gems of restaurants and booking our 5am departure day taxi to the train station.? The bathroom can use a little help. The curtain is not long enough and water spills onto floor during showers. A longer curtain would resolve this issue. Otherwise, very clean, nice towels and thank you much for the olive soap and hair & body washes.

The location was excellent, with a lovely morning view and just a short walk to the train station and bus stops. The staff were always kind and helpful, and everything was perfectly clean. I especially appreciated that the bed had a normal duvet instead of the typical Italian style. it made the stay even more comfortable! Unfortunately, my stay was quite uncomfortable because the room was full of mosquitoes, especially during the night. It was almost impossible to sleep without getting bitten several times. I think the hotel should take this issue more seriously, maybe install mosquito screens, provide electric mosquito repellents, or at least offer lotion or spray to guests. A small step like this could make a huge difference for future visitors.

The location couldn't be better! It was right beside the Duomo, you get a wonderful view of it from the room window too! The room was very spacious and clean. The complementary breakfast were really nice. Host is kind and friendly as well.
