The facilities were great! Bedroom and bathroom were clean and roomy. Guests had access to the dining room, snacks, glasses, cups and small plates, as well as cold water from the refridgerator. The only aspect that did not meet our expectations was the kitchen. While a refrigerator, microwave and cups, small plates and glasses were available for our use, there was no sink to wash them. This made preparing any food in the microwave or using utensils and cleanup challenging and awkward.

Location good and was clean There was some strange noise during the night coming from upstairs , like some washing machine which was very disturbing for us.

This accommodation is in a vibrant location. It is a short taxi ride or a 30 min walk from the main train station. Be aware, pavements are narrow and busy, as are the roads. There are good restaurants, takeaways and bars close by, also there are a variety of interesting independent shops. You can walk to the centre of town and attractions, in about fifteen minutes. the local area is a fun mixture of bohemian families and uni students; there's lots going on. The room we stayed in was very clean. Our bathroom was small, but, again, very clean and everything worked well. The property's live-in owner is truly lovely, interesting and helpful. We loved our host and enjoyed our stay in their lovely apartment. There wasn't anything we didn't like, but you should know, the apartment is high up. To ascend, you either need to walk up many flights of stairs, or use a very small, slow, airless lift. We have no problem with stairs, so were happy to walk up and down during our stay. Again, not a criticism, but it might be helpful for you to know: On arrival, when the owner buzzes you in, call the lift, put your luggage in, make sure the door is closed. Go up to meet your host, then you can call the lift to bring your luggage up. Hope that's helpful.

The location is perfect. It’s close enough to the center, yet tucked away so it was quiet at night. The AC is very strong and bed is comfortable. The shutters keep out the heat and mosquitos. It is a 20 minute walk from SMN train station. The bathroom is separate in the hall, which is fine. The shower did not drain until my partner fiddled with it.

This was our second visit to Florence, after 8 whole years, and we could not imagine staying anywhere else by at B&B Giorni Dipinti. Laura is wonderful and most considerate host. She has an artistic eye and the space is filled with art books and eclectic and stunning pieces of art. The common area is stocked with cookies, tea, coffee, a microwave and a refrigerator. The rooms are clean and invitingly comfortable beyond reproach. The B&B is close some great trattorias and cafes, a bus stop. Since Florence is a walking city, everything is accessible within a 5-10 minute walk. I loved everything. No complaints. Some people may find the tiny elevator a point to complain about, but it only adds to the charm of a historic city like Firenze!
