The restaurant offers a fantastic view of the Duomo – that was the highlight. The complimentary mini-bar was an unexpected bonus. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. Air-conditioning works well, though the temperature is centrally controlled . The lighting in the room and hallway is quite dim, so if you prefer bright spaces, this might take some getting used to.

Amazing location within Florence and a wonderful roof top bar overlooking the city. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Room was quite dark, but understandable as it is an old property.

The property was beautiful. The rooftop bar and restaurant had an amazing view, excellent service, and delicious food. Most notably was the kindness of the front desk staff, especially a gentleman named Pierre. He gave us exceptional service. This was the second time I stayed at the hotel, and it was even more fabulous than my first visit.

The room was very nice, the breakfast was exceptional and had a very big variety. The view from the dining area is absolutely beautiful The staff was not of the friendliest that I have met. They made a mistake packing breakfast for 2 of us, because we had an early tour, they rectified the problem , but it took almost 30min and we were almost late for our tour. The breakfast that they packed was very disappointing, considering what you pay for the breakfast and what they can offer, they gave us 2 x small sandwiches and 1 boiled egg. No fruit or yogurt or pastries. They did give us a written apology the next day for making a mistake with the breakfast

Breakfast buffet was fantastic. The room size excellent. The shower was small but excellent water pressure The entrance and lobby had a musty odor. Same for the rooms. The a/c wasnt strong enough to remove the humidity in the room
