Perfectly fine old hotel located a little on the outskirts of Florence -only a 15 minute walk many sites. We had to take a taxi to the Accademia, but we walked back from the Uffizi and the Duomo. There is no Uber or Lyft service in Florence BTW. We are very comfortable in this hotel a bear bones kind of room, but it was pretty quiet and the bed was comfortable. Good AC. Blow dryer was the worst ever though -like a vacuum cleaner in the wall! Breakfast was typical Italian a coffee machine that made great cappuccino, though I liked that! Very fluffy cornetti. Parking lot behind the hotel was a blessing. They were doing construction all along the street though and made it difficult to find a hotel. The blow dryer! Also, the property is a bit rundown. Has potential to be 3 star with some new carpeting and upgrades.

Near public transport and walkable to duomo. They offered breakfast which is really good and affordable. When we asked the staff were to buy water nearest supermarket. He said just drink the water in the toilet. Which doesn’t sound right to answer my question.

It was near shops and restaurants. The “lobby room” looks nothing like the advertised photo.

Charming old building, nice location, great breakfast. Rooms were simple and comfortable.

The staff was so kind and helpful! They provided great breakfast with our stay and had vending machines as well! The little outdoor area was super cute and assessable as well. There was a lot of construction going on so none of the bus routes were going which means we had to walk to the city every time. Luckily, it wasn’t too far but still a long walk on chilly nights.

Excellent, great staff, nice breakfast, great location
-
Good breakfast Noisy street and nearby construction
-
The room allocated to me and the attached bathroom were too small for the price and the one window it had opened into the corridor with a roof, so there wasn’t real natural light in the room.
-
Tidy room with all necessary facilities: shower, air conditioning and wifi. Nice and friendly staff members. Location is good, but a bit far away from the city centre and tourist places.

all of it no ac in the rooms

Relaxed atmosphere, clean, helpful staff and good breakfast. Nothing

The convenience to everything excellent breakfast and accommodating staff Rooms and bathrooms were clean, but outdated

Location was great. 20 minutes walk from center. High ceilings with big Windows and good shutters. It had balcony and a bathroom was huge. It was clean. Breakfast server was good and attentive. I like that I could leave my luggage at the hotel for half a day. 24 reception, it felt secure. It's more like a 3 star hotel instead of 2 star Breakfast was continental. It would have been good to be able to get a full breakfast or different. Could have had open bar witch they use to have.

Great staff!!! Makes the difference. Kudos to Matteo! The place is great, I missed an elevator because we had big luggages and a 70 years old granny. Breakfast is nice. Lack of elevator

all good

Nice place, next to Arno river and small park. 30 mins to Duomo. A cat in the reception. They gave us some room outside the main building on the ground floor, next to utility/laundry room. So we had to listen trolleys passing by our windows every early morning. The tile floor was ice cold so you could barely walk on it. The even colder was the whole bathroom, it was ice cold even during the day when the sun was shining. It had a tiny shower, so half bathroom got wet while showering, but it never dried, as the bathroom was always cold. The wi-fi not always had a good signal, as our room was outside. Very disappointing for such a high price.

No elevator, i had to take my luggage upstairs from two floors. The hotel and room really smells bad. Toilet is old. Bed linens and towels really smell like used before. Not recommended at all
