Location was great. Very friendly staff. Shower was a little difficult since it is open water would get on the floor and make it slippery very easily.

The sound isolation wasn't perfect and since I'm sensitive to sound, I woke up couple of times during the night.

The location was great. We could walk everywhere. The beds are hard but I think that is most places in Europe.

Really nice bathroom and people

Excellent rates for solo traveler staying for a couple days. Air conditioning doesn't kick on until May.

Otherwise we had a good experience with the hotel!

The main plus of the hotel is its location, within walking distance of all the attractions. It is an old but clean hotel, cleaned every day and quite well. The room was small (112) but had a nice little balcony. The breakfast is not very varied, but you will not go hungry, the staff is quite friendly. It is an old, clean, average hotel in a good location.

Hotel is very nice and the room for Italy was large. Hotel front desk spoke great English and lobby is staffed 24 hours. the hotel is super convenient to the Florence train station - less than a 10 minute walk - go straight of out of the train station and hang a left on the road and hotel is 10 minutes down on your right. Hotel is next to all the main attractions in city center. theres a wonderful food market to blocks away that had an amazing food court. Great selection of food and drinks for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel was very clean, staff is super friendly. Bed could of been a little softer.

Centrally located Facilities were under construction and rooms were not ready . Our original room had a clunky AC that made really loud sounds . We asked the staff if they could move us to a room where sleep would be possible. After they moved us to a new room which was quiet , turns out the bathroom was a wet bathroom which wouldn’t drain well in time and the water flowed outside the bathroom. We were tired and didn’t want to deal again with the front desk so we used towels to make a barrier so the water wouldn’t go everywhere and took incredible short showers . The rooms are sound proof but the doorway isn’t which meant on our last night at the hotel we could hear the men yelling and arguing in the hallway for the duration of there multiple hour argument .

There is a fresh renovation in the room and the shower is clean. The location is very good - 10' by walk from the central station. The light in the room is also nice, and there is good isolation in the windows - our room was facing the main street but we couldn't hear a single sound. The breakfast room is small though they clean tables fast and we could find a seat both mornings. Breakfast is fine but would be nice to get more warm food like omelet or warm vegetables. On the second day (after cleaning) we found dirty shoe prints in the bathroom - probably the cleaning person was in dirty shoes.

The atmosphere was wonderful. The room had just been remodeled so everything was clean and in great shape. Nothing. It was a great hotel.
