Hotel Lombardia

The only thing I did not like about it it didn’t have a hotel for your luggage even though the steps help you bring your luggage upstairs. One of the members seemed very angry about it.

Location and cleanliness. No elevator but the staff carried our bags up

Breakfast was quite decent and the attendant was the only friendly staff member. This property needs truth in advertising. the online photos look great, the rooms appear fresh and renovated. The reality, which I have photos of, was heavily scratched flooring, lose and ill fitting bedsheets, mold in the shower, stains on the curtains, on check in there were no towels and only two glasses, the hot pot did not work, the wall outlet was loose, so the clerk came up, jiggled the connection to get it to work! Shower wall pictured below. Disgusting. Also the front desk clerks seemed completely uncaring. they watched several old people struggle up the stairs with huge suitcases and not once asked to help. There is NO elevator.

Fantastic location in Florence. Very close to train station. Very helpful and friendly staff. No elevator. If have heavy luggage you will have to carry up stairs.

Great location within walking distance to attractions, many restaurants and shops. Stairs, limited breakfast selection

The room cleaning staff stopped at around noon, and didn't clean the room. If I would have known that. I would have request clean towels before they left for the day.

Good size room and bathroom. Large mirrors are also nice. Clean and comfortable space. The breakfast area was nice, well staffed and everything was fresh and tasty. A box of tissues in the bathroom would be nice.

It is in a great location Vanesa that was getting breakfast she is incredible!! It is convenient the only problem has no elevator

Great for one night stay in Firenze/Florence, excellent location. Room was GREAT! Comfortable queen bed, great pillows, fantastic rainfall shower. Staff was also great, especially breakfast attendant. She went out of the way with everyone to make sure got everything we wanted. Breakfast selection is on-par with 4 star hotels we've experienced. 24 hour access via gate code outside of 12 hour front desk. Only challenge was no lift while lugging bags.

Location. Close to train station and restaurants Vanessa was great helping with breakfast No elevator 2 flights of stairs with 6 luggage. Reception closed at 8pm. So no one to help us. My wife has asthma and I recently had knee surgery. They would not let us cancel without paying full charge Vanessa was great for breakfast help

OK, Friendly staff but cost high for hotel , no elevators, difficult to go up three levels of stairs

The breakfast was good, the coffee was great. Vanessa was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. We don't eat beef or pork and all they had for the breakfast was beef and pork sausages and cheese. Unfortunately the patrons used the same tongs for the sausages and the cheese. When we told vanessa she understood, went to the kitchen cut some cheese for us and said she would have chicken sausage next day. She did this for us through the entire stay. The room was great the location was superb just about 5 mins walk from the train station and if you walk through the mall its smoother and easier on the luggage wheels. The room was CLEAN and the view was lovely. Self service Laundry bout 5mins walk away and cost 12 euro to wash and dry. They lost 1 point for the fact that there was no elevator it was quite a work out to get up 3 flights of stairs......especially if you forgot something in the room I can't remember the desk clerk's name but he helped us with the both suitcases when we checked in. I can't think of anything else that I didn't like. It's a great hotel

Not many amenities provided but with the location in the heart of the city of the price, I can't ask more. The waters (still and sparking) were free so that was great.

Location, amazing daily cleaning, good size. Good breakfast fast No smart TV. That's so uncomfortable, especially if you're not Italian, you're forced to watch Italian tv. No table lamps. I had to work on the desk and it was so dark. Torta della nonna was amazing but there is only one cake a day so it's finished by 8:30 am.

The breakfast had many choices. I loved the selection of fresh fruit, breads, cereals, cheese,meat ,veggie and cappuccinos! Incredible value!! Th bathroom was large and clean. There was a towel warmer even. Great towels and toiletries provided as well. Water pressure and shower was good. Do some reason, the shower door leaked water onto the floor. Not a big deal as there were many towels to absorb it.
