Hotel Marios

Wifi was a little weak. Bathroom was too small. I dont know in other rooms, but I understood it was renovated recently.

We stayed in room 9 for a night. They have bed bugs

Great hotel with an inn-like feel. The location is great, short walk from the train station and still able to walk everywhere in Florence from the hotel. Slightly away from the tourist crowds which was great. Breakfast was good and the staff was very welcoming. They didn’t not have an elevator when we went, so we had to carry our bags one flight of stairs. However they were building one when we were there.

My rain shower was spraying all over the place but otherwise everything was great.

Room and bathroom were small. No elevator since it was being remodeled.

The location is good and so is the breakfast. The shower is teeny tiny. It’s about 2x2 foot, so you have to turn the water off to wash your legs.

Breakfast was great. The location was great. It was walkable to everything we did in Florence. There was a parking garage downstairs which made that easy. The concierge was very helpful. The room was good. The hotel was quaint and the building was built in the 1600's. The hotel lobby was on the second floor and there was no elevator. And the steps were further compromised because there was work being done in the center of the stairway so there was a rough wooden railing. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were too flat

The room is big. The bathroom is modern and clean. The breakfast is excellent. It is very welcoming. Is really close to termini and on a street that leads to downtown easily. The mattress of the bed is uneven, making it uncomfortable to sleep in the middle. It could use an upgrade.

Didn’t love that our bathroom with not in the room but I knew that when I booked but definitely something to be aware of. Also the bed was uncomfortable but honestly I found that to be the case in most of the hotels we stayed at in Italy.

Staff was very helpful. We loved the old school charm of the hotel. The location was great and the breakfast was very good. Loved that we received an actual room key. It made us smile.

Staff is helpful and friendly. Thin walls, you can hear everything. Old, although renovated bathrooms. Bed and pillows are not that comfy. Breakfast options are few and limited.

Really no complaints. They sent a form to fill out before arriving but it was pretty simple and I think you could just go to the desk. I like that there was a 24 hour desk, which seems to be disappearing in many places. You have to give your key when you go out in case that bothers you.

The staff was very pleasant. Carrying luggage up the stairs and a bit of noise by others in the evening and outside. Rooms were smaller than expected.

Excellent central location (7 min walk to Santa Maria del Fiore), beautiful authentic room design, super clean and comfortable bathroom, excellent breakfast with a big variety of sweet and salted options, great value for money. Parking located close to the property is only 15 EUR per day.

The property is great! Location is perfect, close to all sites and train station. Breakfast is amazing! Staff is very good and responsive to the needs Nothing, everything was perfect
