Very loud and poorly functioning airconditioning

The location of the hotel is great, the breakfast is ok. The staff is also great. The room is not comfortable. My main problem was the shower, it was really disappointing for this value of stay.

The location was great. The beds were comfortable & the bathroom was nice. The check in process was very confusing & took way too long. The ac did not work so we had to open the window.

Staff at reception 24 hours and they are all very nice. Breakfast is included which is good. Very good location. The night is quiet. Bed is not long enough. Mattress very uncomfortable. Room is not sound proofing at all. We can easily hear the voices from other rooms. The water for shower is very very slow…

The place is walking distance to all you need. Loud, unsafe, and a terrible place to bring a family. Thankfully it was only a one night stay on our long road trip. Would not stay here again even if it was free. The only thing that kept the door from being thrown open by a drunk person at 2 in the morning was the manual lock we had locked before lying down. Even that barely held. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

    Nothing, everything was perfect .

the room was not great, the bathroom was very dirty and you had to pay extra if you wanted your towels changed. the breakfast also had a very few options almost none, so do not pay extra for it it is not worth it. We were there n=in January and the breakfast area was super cold, almost made me sick.

It was very accesible and less than 10 minutes away from the Duomo

We stayed in the family suite. The Reims were clean and comfortable. Great location and the staff was very friendly. We were able to store our luggage there even after checking out and enjoying some additional activities.

the location and breakfast were good. My room was located near smoking area. I asked to move me to another non-smoking room. They promised me to move, but it never happened. Sometimes people were rude at the front desk. The hotel itself is very dirty and worn out.

Location of facility, luggage room for baggage while we've checked out, and proffesional approach of tall manager on reception... Restaurant staff should have improve english vocabulary, breakfast food choice - maybe try with some italian products. Also, we've booked a room as a couple and we got a two single beds.

Cramped room, tiny bathroom. Shower too small for a larger fellow to fit in!

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

It has what you need for 2 nights stay. Rooms are on the smaller side but beds are comfy. Good breakfast. Basic rooms a bit awkward decor. We had to carry our bags 2 floors. Not on the historic side but very close

The breakfast was ok. The hotel is old and needs a serious renovations. It does not have lift, upper rooms available by stairs only.

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

The room had so much fragrance to cover up a weird smell that I could barely be in it. I'm allergic to strong fragrance. The room was tiny.

The hotel is located in the very city centre. The location is great and the breakfast Is proportioned to the price. During my recent stay, I experienced several serious issues that left me extremely disappointed. 1. Internet connection Before booking, I confirmed with the receptionist that the internet quality would be sufficient for a videoconference, as I had an important meeting the night I arrived. I even double-checked upon arrival and was reassured again. Unfortunately, the internet was terrible throughout my entire stay, despite me reporting the issue to reception every single day. If you plan to stay here, be prepared to rely on your mobile hotspot instead. 2. Air conditioning disaster The air conditioning in my room broke within minutes of turning it on. After a loud cracking noise, it began leaking water all over the room: on my clothes, on my electronics, everywhere. I reported it immediately. The receptionist came in, gave me extra towels to soak up the water, and promised I would be moved to another room the next day. That never happened. There were empty rooms available, but according to what seemed to be the owner, "the room I had was prettier than the others," so they left me there. The next day, a technician came to "fix" the unit. The leaking stopped, but the AC itself never worked properly again. 3. Broken hairdryer & lack of respect for privacy The in-wall hairdryer didn’t work either. To be precise, it got burned as soon as I plugged it in. When I reported this, the receptionist seemed skeptical, as if I were exaggerating the problems. He came to check for himself but entered my room with dirty shoes, stepping on my clothes, bedsheets, and towels—completely disregarding the customer's space and privacy. I was eventually given a small portable hairdryer that barely worked, but it was at least functional if you are patient enough. Finally, when I checked out, nobody asked if everything was okay. No apology, no gesture of compensation, nothing at all—they simply took the keys and said goodbye.

Very big room and has everything I want Nothing

Great location. Short walk to every tourist attraction in the city. Good breakfast included with excellent espresso to enjoy in the outdoor patio. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and had excellent customer service. The A/C is required to be off when you leave the room so it takes a while to cool the room during these hot summer days in Firenze.
