Our stay in Arno Boutique was very good, the room was comfortable and the A/C was a bonus with those temperatures! The staff is friendly and the location is great, calm. We did everything by walking.

Nice location Advertised washer on site was not working. When traveling for two weeks that’s why we booked. Laundry service was offered at 30e for a kilo of laundry very unreasonable.

Drain in showers (our room and our friends room) very slow so shower backed up. Shower head insert didn't hold it so had to squat down low. Onsite free laundry was advertised but when we arrived it was unplugged and reported to be broken and being removed the next day. 30 euro laundry service offered offsite, should have been free versus paid due to advertising laundry on site! The fact that they have laundry has now been removed. We did ask for extra towels as we couldn't wash ours which they provided but otherwise we never saw anyone at front desk until we left which was to collect city tax.

Bed was comfortable but small for 2 people. We had to insist to get a tv controller. They said the previous guest must have taken it. They finally provided one one after numerous contacts

The hotel is not very big and spacious. This is generally the case in Rome. The hotel rooms are very small.

We loved that the coffee and tea in the room were provided at no extra cost. Also the slippers and toiletries were very helpful. The rate we paid for the room was very fair for it being so close to city center (about 10-15 minutes walk). And being so close to the river made for some lovely walks. The towels felt a little rough. They were clean, but they were a little scratchy to use right after a shower. It was also a little tricky to figure out how to get regular TV channels. We were not able to watch the standard Italian broadcasts.

Quiet location. Informative and helpful staff. Clean room. Close to river Arno. It's a little off the beaten path.

The bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure.. The room was quiet. Location: We were told it was a gentle walk from SMN train station to the hotel. NO! It was difficult to drag rolling luggage across cracked sidewalks, busy streets, and vagrant people standing around. Plus, there are NO restaurants nearby. The small coffee house down the street only serves pastries. We had to walk across the Arno River bridge to another town section to find food (about 700 meters away)! NOTE: In Florence, you better not be hungry from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM--because NOTHING is open!! Before crossing back over the bridge, we noticed a small food truck (i'Bandito) that is parked next to the bridge and roundabout at Piazza Taddeo Gaddi. Their food was GREAT! Check-In: The hotel sent an email (while we were flying to Europe) and asking for Passport details., arrival times, etc., so they could provide the front door code. When we landed at 3:00 PM, we had no information on how to open the main door at street level. We pushed the buzzer (no answer) and called the phone number (no answer), so we sat there for 45 minutes until another guest of Arno came and allowed us to follow him upstairs to the hotel! Still, nobody at the desk, so we located room 4 (that was emailed to us a week before we departed the USA) and entered our room. Room: The air conditioning was OFF, so the room temperature was 25 C. NOT comfortable. It took several hours for the temperature to drop to 20 C. Plus, some of the room light bulbs are burned out. Tourist Tax: The sign in the room says 4 Euro. We check out, and it's 6 Euro!

The hotel is located in a secure area and easy to access. The staff was friendly. The room was so comfortable and warm (because I turned the air conditioner on). Also the staff left some coffee and tea, biscuits for me. That there is no elevator. Guests who have a heavy luggage — please take this into consideration!

Super clean, spacious, well organized, comfortable, every amenity provided was well thought out and convenient. Staff were professional, courteous, and personable.

Nothing everything was perfect and generous

It was right near the city center and everything we needed to do, and the staff was very easy to get in touch with and responsive! The room was beautiful and exactly what we needed.

However, be aware, this is not a hotel but more of an AirBnB, There is no staff, no elevator, self check-in, etc. It is unacceptable that any lodging in the historic centre does not invest the minimal amount required to obtain ZTL (limited traffic zone) clearance for their guests to drop off their bags. Those arriving by car are forced to park outside the prohibited zone and then drag their heavy luggage to the destination.

We left our luggage there in the morning as we could only check in later. My husband's bag was opened and something was stolen from his bag. That greatly affected our experience of this place, that we are taken for fools. Will not recommend and will not return here. Really unhappy.
