Plaza Hotel Lucchesi

Hotel Lucchesi was a splurge for us, but well worth it! The room sizes are large compared to many European hotels. My Mom's suite with balcony was massive, with a living room and separate bedroom area. We spent many evenings on her balcony enjoying the view of the city and surrounding Tuscany hills. Service from the moment we walked in the door was exceptional! The views from the rooftop pool/bar are extraordinary. It will surly make you want to stay there forever! The pool was small but clean and perfect for the afternoon swim when everyone needed to cool off. Would stay again and highly recommend. Not much! Location of the hotel is right on the Arno, so an easy walk across the river to the Michelanglo Plaza. Also, a local grocery was a block down the street-great place to purchase Prosecco for cheap!

Rooftop views were amazing! Large breakfast options, incredible service by staff, very clean rooms, daily turn down service…..I could go on! You won’t regret your stay here. Not a single thing.

This property was so charming! The room was beautiful and we had a gorgeous city view of the duomo and the bell tower. The staff was very attentive and so helpful. There was no shampoo and conditioner.

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The staff and concierge are so helpful. It is wonderful to have breakfast in the hotel and lunch/dinner/bar in the hotel too. The best bonus is the rooftop bar with wonderful views. Make a reservation to have a drink at sunset here. We ate under the shaded tables for lunch and the food was really good and it wasn’t crowded. The best view of the city from the hotel roof! Nothing!

Great location, balcony overlooking the river, beautiful room. The roof top restaurant was beautiful but wish the hours were longer. Would have liked to have coffee/breakfast up there.

The location It’s very dated. Needs a major renovation. Bathroom window opened to an internal machinery and pipe area with crumbling masonry work and trash.

Amazing staff in all departments. We utilized the lobby bar, breakfast buffet, and room service… and everything was outstanding. Best 4 star we’ve been to yet. Although the rooftop bar was closed for low season, they kept the roof open to enjoy the view, which we did at sunset. The A/C for the hotel was also off for the winter, but they brought us a fan. We happily changed our plans and extended our stay at this hotel for a couple more days simply based on how much we enjoyed our stay! PSA: Get the burger from room service … it is life changing. No smart TV but they have local cable.

Shower door needs to extend more

Location was great, nice receptionist and nice hotel people. Cleanness of the bathroom - very dirty with hair all around, wish size of the bed was a true king bed

Rooftop

The sound insulation in the rooms is bad. You can hear furniture being dragged and other sounds through the ceiling and sometimes through the walls. The rooftop pool closes rather early (6PM in the summer)
