Beautiful hotel, very well appointed with all the luxuries you might expect for a 5* hotel. The bonus was the history of the building which made it really memorable. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful hotel staff I’ve experienced, it made the hotel really feel like home. The hotel is located in a really convenient, central spot which made it perfect for exploring the city. Being very central, it could be a little noisy at night, but not too bad.

I was on holiday in Firenze this week and had one of the best experiences of my life. The team at Porta Rossa Hotel Firenze, Colbert Collection were wonderful, sweet, interactive, supportive, knowledgable, respectful and overall fantastic! We were offered a free hotel room upgrade when we checked-in. The air conditioning in the hotel room was excellent and perfect for the heatwave we had this week! Room service was very good. The steamer provided for us was incredible and was very good to iron our clothes! The breakfast provided was very tasty and had a variety of options! We slept very well at night and there was barely any noise disturbance from outside nor outside our hotel door. The location of the hotel was PERFECT and closely located to everything in the city centre, especially Celine, Tiffany and Co, Prada, Zara, Louis Vuitton and Dior. Furthermore, it is only a 12 minute walk from the train station. It would be nice if the hotel had an indoor swimming pool or rooftop pool, but completely understand that it is an old building.
