Excellent location. Very near market and train station. Lots of restaurants around. Room was as expected. Clean. Good hot water and water pressure for shower. Kitchen facilities were good. Building has elevator. Helpful for luggage. Very small elevator, though. Feels very "Florence". Room had dramatic ceiling and cool windows. Room was a little noisy when others were coming and going from their rooms. The toilet had a lot of trouble flushing. Loved the quilts, but pillows weren't great. Lights were a bit harsh. Had to cover them to use them.

The stay was great, we really loved the location, I think it is the best one possible, you are close to pretty much everything, il duomo is just 5 minutes walking, Ponte vechio maximum of 15 minutes walking, a los of places to eat, there a pharmacy at the corner of the street and a carrefur, very convenient. loved the place, enter with a code so it’s easy, the bed was really comfortable. I liked everything

The accommodation has 3 bedrooms. The one I stayed in was a suite with a private bathroom. However, next to our room there was an external bathroom that belonged to guests from another room. This caused a lot of noise during the night and early in the morning.

While we appreciated having a private bathroom, it was detached & down the hall from our room & only accessible with a key (or to be left unlocked?)

Loved staying here! The place definitely exceeded our expectations. Great location, cute apartment that has everything you might need and very nice hosts. We booked a room with a private bathroom and had 2 lovely nights in the Strange Uncle. We loved our very cozy bedroom with a comfortable bed and absolutely enjoyed the nice trumpet lamps made by the owners, the cute small table with a coffee maker and the spacious modern bathroom. We also had breakfast in the shared kitchen and it was delightful. Also met the hosts - a very nice and smiley couple. Will book again if we return to Florence for sure. Definitely recommend!

The original place which we booked is on renovation, so the staff arranged us a stay in another nice hotel. It was really comfortable and we had a lounge outside where we can have tea or coffee. We wasn't aware we were given a total different hotel. We lost our way as the staff didn't inform us the building name. There were 2 types of block numbers which is very confusing. It was rainy, and we had to keep calling the staff to tell us the way. It took us an hour to find the place, which isn't convenient.

Great location, close to Piazza San Giovanni. Clean place and had a pod coffe maker which was a plus. There is construction going on at the main floor so there is construction dust all over the stairs and wasn’t able to use the handrails which made difficult to bring luggage upstairs. Power outlets need changing, when conecting converters they were loose.

The apartment is really nice, perfect location, clean, and the host is so friendly and welcoming.

Very good

Location is perfect. Very central and you have walking access to everything in Florence. Pretty noisy at night. But they provide earplugs.

Location is great! We need to share toilet and the flash doesn’t work well for the 2nd day we stayed. I understand this building itself is 300years old but the toilet should be up running. Apart from that, everything else is great!

Good location, fast response from hosts, a room with theme, good kitchen Unbearable noise from the streets at 6AM and 11PM (even with ear plugs), toilet not very clean and the flush doesn’t work properly

Bred and Nadja were so welcoming and helpful. They told us where we could find the Laundermat, supermarket, etc. No lifts for our luggage.
