Velona's Jungle Luxury Suites

From the moment we walked into Velona’s Jungle, we felt so welcomed. The host was incredibly warm and hospitable, and the entire place is absolutely stunning. The decor is even better in person. Every detail is so unique and beautifully done. Our room was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. The bed was amazing, the blackout shades were a huge plus, and the AC worked perfectly, which was very appreciated in Florence in August! They offered us drinks as soon as we arrived, and every morning they brought us the most delicious breakfast. You get to choose what you want, what time you want it delivered, and everything was fresh and so good. The location was also perfect for us. It’s close enough to easily get to everything you want to see and do in Florence, but just far enough off the beaten path that it feels quiet, safe, and peaceful instead of crowded and touristy. Truly such a special place with incredible hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% stay here again. One of our favorite places we stayed during our trip! Can’t think of a single thing!

Wonderful luxury stay in Florence!We had a fantastic stay in a wonderful luxury suite at Velona's Jungle Luxury Suites. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and the decor was incredibly stylish. A real highlight was having a high-quality breakfast with an excellent choice of options delivered directly to our room on a trolley every morning.The location was perfect; although it is a pleasant 20-minute walk into the city center, having the tram and local mini-buses right outside our apartment made getting around effortless. To top it off, the owner was lovely and always on hand to help. Highly recommended!

We loved the atmosphere. It was a very chic environment with wonderful antiques. The rooms were spacious with a lovely shower en-suite. The air conditioning was most welcome as it was 40c on some days. Breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Whilst it isn’t far from the main attractions in Florence. As it was ver hot during our stay the 25 minute walk each way was exhausting some days when the temperature was c40c. Probably not an issue when it’s cooler.

Nice and clean Distance of the Centre

Our second visit to Velonas, the first about 7 years ago. It is just as lovely we remembered. The property is both homely and very luxurious, there are so many thoughtful details that add to a feeling of being very spoilt. Veronica, the owner is lovely and offers lots of very good recommendations for shopping, dining and enjoying the city. We enjoyed the neighbourhood Velonas is in, just outside the centre but with nice coffee and apperitivo a very short walk away. The walk along to the Ponte Vecchio and the very centre is along the river and very pleasant. There is a busy road nearby and we did hear that at night but we are quite light sleepers.

I loved the unique style and I would always choose this type of accommodation over any cookie cutter hotel. The staff were excellent, especially Giulia. My room was wonderful and the breakfast was great.

Great hosts, rooms are big, clean. It's like living in your own mini palace. Staff go out of the way to help, especially Veronica. Location is good too, right next to a tram station. There's a nice specialty coffee place round the corner too. Rooms are cleaned every day. Small things like complimentary water make a big difference.

The rooms were exceptionally stylish. The beds were super comfy, showers powerful. Host were fabulous, extremely helpful with some brilliant local recommendations for food and drinks. Was close to the station. One tram stop or an 11minute walk. The apartment was 20-25min walk from the historic centre. Perfectly manageable and actually quite pleasant after a steak dinner !

We loved the location (just next to tram and bus stops) for easy travel. The apartment was secure and beautifully decorated, we had a lot of freedom to come and go as we pleased and we had so much space. Veronica and Giulio especially looked after us very well. Breakfast was delicious and it was so indulgent to have it in bed!

Location was perfect for us. Convenient to underground parking and access to the countryside. The bathroom amenities - missing shampoo, soap was just okay (prefer bath and shower gel).

I can highly recommend this beautiful little hotel. Even before my arrival, Giulio, a member of the staff, contacted me to ask about my arrival time. Since my flight was arriving very late, he kindly stayed up to welcome me, helped me with my luggage, and tailored the experience to my needs, as I had to leave early the next morning. He explained everything I needed to know and even offered to be available if I had any questions during my stay. Breakfast was served in the room and included delicious, fresh local products that were of excellent quality. The hotel, the room, and all facilities were impeccably clean, and I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. A big thank you to the entire hotel team, and especially to Giulio for his exceptional hospitality and help. I would happily stay here again!
