The location was probably the best part. Everything else was real poor. Dear future hotel seekers - do not stay here, you've been warned. The hotel is locked and someone needs to buzz you in at all times because you keep your room key at the front desk (2 stories up might I add). I'm sure there is minimal key guarding meaning feel free to grab anyone's room key and scavenge. After grabbing your key, you need to clamber up a tall spiral staircase. Good luck if you have a wheeling suitcase! When I entered the room it was bare and beat up at best. Holes in comforters, 2 twin beds pushed together, and 2 bugs at the window sill. The sink does not drain and neither does the shower, so you better shower quickly in order for the water to not overflow! When I went in bed I was first greeted by a tiny ant, and then another beetle or maybe even tick, who knows. Are you too cold or too warm? Forget about adjusting the temperature. They also claimed to serve breakfast which was a single croissant, 3 slices of packaged bread, Nutella and jelly. Overall not worth the money in my opinion unless you're not looking for stay in the room that much. Best used for location only.

Great staff and excellent location. The place was clean and everything went fine.

Close to the train station, duomo snd everything else you need or want to see. The host was very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was the same both days and very simple but nevertheless a great addition to our stay. Thin walls so it could get noisy at night. Fixed shower head.

There is a very narrow sprial stair case you have to go uo to get to your room so i wouldn't recommend taking a large suitcase. The walls felt a little dirty, and my TV didnt work.

only location every thing except location

The hotel has an excellent location in the center of Florence, close to all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants

The breakfast was a simple pastries, and coffee machine which honestly so nice just to have a quick bite to eat and a coffee in the morning. Location was super nice and located in such a good spot and close to the train station. The shower situation was interesting I guess you could say but there was shower so thats better than nothing. For the price point and staying a 1-2 nights this place is perfect.

Close to all of the big ticket sites in Florence, proprietors were kind and friendly. Room was dated but clean and sizeable Finding the first time was a little difficult and the homeless guys hanging out in the shade gave me a bit of pause.

Lovely hotel, in a great location to explore the city. The owner was very kind and accommodating. Definitely would book again!

The staff was friendly, the rooms clean. The water pressure was awesome. Their location was good, close to the train station. They said they had an elevator and they did, but it did not go up to floors where we stayed. We had to take stairs. The rooms we had were accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, which did not accommodate large pieces of luggage. Although the hotel is close to the train station we had a hard time finding it. No hotel sign large enough to see. google maps were not great. My sister and I are in our 70's and stairs were hard. We looked for the restaurant beside the hotel (Ciro & Sons) to find it.

Location is the main will for this hotel It requires investment to reform the rooms

Location Very noisy

I think it's crazy the prices are these high, but everything is inflated everywhere, so this is just adjusting to it...

Excellent location in the center of Firenze.

The breakfast and the staff were great, also amazingly located. nothing

The location of the hotel is very good. That however is all there is to say about the hotel. Well, the beds are alright too. Don't expect much. We had a bed and a shower, and that's about it. It is very noisy in the hotel, the room is small and the water didn't really go away from the sink/shower. Also the included breakfast was basically nothing.

Location. Some staff friendly. - One staff member incredibly unfriendly. - Lack of entrance instructions meant we had to wait 20 minutes to check in. When receptionist arrived we were scolded for not ringing the bell at the front door 1 story down. - Constant cigarette smoking made hall air unbreathable. - Very loud from staff coughing through the night and morning and noise from road. - Not allowed to take keys away. Must be hung up in hall - security issue as other guests could take your key!
