It’s close proximity to the bus, the close proximity to the major sites all within walking distances, coffee shops and Coop.fi supermarket. The dark hallway to get down the stairs to the apartment.

Close to bus and train station. Found a great little cafe very close by for very cheap breakfast. Great coffee! Clean and tidy.

The room is in a quiet courtyard, so very silent and secluded from the street! The host is so kind and nice, as well as very thoughtful. The bed is comfortable and facilities all worked as expected. The location was good for me as I was doing a workshop nearby and there are easy transit connections in the plaza down the street. Lovely!

Rosella is such a nice host, incredible helpful and lovely person! The room was very clean and had a nice view into the garden. Highlight was of course the turtle Lou that greeted us in the morning. Location is also really good, slightly outside the center so it was quite during the night, but relaxed walk (20 min) to the main tourist attractions. -

The property is in a nice residential area with lots of dining options like OTTONE - recently opened and beautifully designed and decorated restaurant with high quality food and drinks on the menu, yet, reasonably priced; II VECCHIO Restaurant and Pizzeria that is famous for great vibes pizzas ( their main speciality, but also wide range of other options too), excellent cafeterias and drink bars where we had best coffee and Spritzes drinks in Italy ( not exaggerating at all! ) like MOKA ARRA-highly recommend not to miss a Spritz drink there if you want to try the real Spritz and not a rubbish version for tourists !!! Rossella the host gave us some other recommendations, but we didn’t check them out because we’re just happy to come back to the above mentioned places as we loved it. The other thing that we loved about the property was a cute turtle pet that was running ( yes, definitely running, lol) behind us and loving to be petted on the back and rubbed on the head. Rossella, the host was friendly and helpful Unfortunately the property is very basic, but bed was comfortable and shower had a decent size. I also didn’t like that host entered our room to change the towels without prior notice to us ( in Italy it is not allowed as we were told by other accommodations)

Really great experience, the host was very kind, hospitable and gave useful tips on sightseeing!

Rosalia, the host, is a very pleasant and kind person!! She was very hospitable and responsive when we had questions! We managed to see Lou, the turtle in the garden just the last day and she waved us good-bye! It was very cute :)

Our host Rossella was very engaging and helpful. Her home-made breads, biscuits, and desserts were amazingly delicious! When she found out that we like pomegranate, she prepared some fresh ones as part of breakfast. The room is a separate building with a nice garden between the main house and guest house, which was nice for privacy. Location was about a mile from the main sights in Florence Center, which was easily walkable for us. We felt overall it was very good value. We would definitely stay here if we come back to Florence! This is a nit, but the mattress was rather soft. Not enough to deter us from returning!

It was very private. It wasn’t too far to walk to centre and there’s a local train station nearby. Our host, Rossella was very nice and helpful and made wonderful Tiramisu!

The owner was lovely and gave heaps of great recommendations. Lou the tortoise in the backyard was a very unexpected but great addition to the stay. Within walking distance of the centre. Clean room and had everything we needed (tea, coffee, aircon etc)

Rossella is an amazing host. We had an amazing time and were super thankful that she welcomed us into her home. We got great recommendations for the area and she was accommodating and friendly. Thank you Rossella. Hope to come back again soon

The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept and of course the home-made breakfast (buscuits, tiramisu etc.) !!! Furthermore, the hostess Rossela is a fantastic Italian lady, very kind and at the same time too professional. For sure, we will recomend "La Casa Di Scarlett" to our friends.

We really liked the location because it was both convenient but also quiet and more like where people actually live. It’s also convenient to the train and the bus as well as some bustling night life and shopping. The owner, Rossella, is lovely and her home is charming. Her tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had, actually! She even made it gluten free for me! The accommodations are in a separate little apartment in the back and it’s really sweet. Also, she has a turtle named Lou who is more like a dog than a turtle! Would definitely recommend Casa di Scarlet! I’m not sure there was anything we didn’t like. We thought it was good value, safe, quiet, charming, fun and convenient. I guess the breakfast was mostly just pastries. And I would never eat Tiramisu for breakfast back home, but in Italy? Homemade tiramisu? Why not?

We had a very cosy stay in the Casa, shielded from the busy city by a backyard and guarded by watchturtle Lou. The place can be reached well by car/taxi or bus, and the city center is nearby. The patron is very friendly.
