A little dark in the hallways at night

The staff were very accommodating and seemed genuinely welcoming and happy that we were staying there. I appreciated that they could arrange a very early morning taxi for our departure.

We absolutely loved this property- so much history and character. We stayed in the penthouse apartment and absolutely loved the view. The only downside is the extra stairs but it’s an older building so that’s just par for the course. Having the kitchen and living room was so nice. The space is beautiful, and the view of the Duomo was worth the stairs. Location is perfect. Absolutely would stay again!

The location was excellent - a block from the Pitti Palace and a beautiful square with lively restaurants and a rooftop bar. Staff are exceptionally helpful. Hotel is very atmospheric; it's like stepping back in time and living in a grand old street. Rooms are tastefully decorated and bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was delicious. I appreciated the safe but it was small and had quite a few steps to make it function.

Great location. Beautiful room. We felt like we were in the less touristy part of Florence, creating a more authentic experience, yet close to everything. All the staff were extremely helpful, gracious, and accommodating to our needs.

Great location, very clean AC was not turned on for the season yet. Room was very warm so slept with window open which made for very noisy nights and we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Very tight space with limited in room amenities.
