Easy to find, great location. The shared spaces are beautiful and the rooms are clean.

Everything was perfect! The only little note is about the AC noises coming from other rooms when windows were open. Other than that there was nothing bad or negative about this stay.

The entrance is a bit hard to find and the inside of the building leading to the homestay is a bit smelly. Once you are inside the guesthouse you don't have this issue.

The location was absolutely perfect! It was just a block or two from the Pointe Vecchio! Easy to access and very spacious. There were very small inconveniences with the room. Nothing that would deter me from coming back but little things that could be fixed. The shower drain top was not secure and came off if you stepped on it while showering. And the rain shower faucet was not working so you had to use the handheld. Every time you turned the cold water on a loud pump sound happened and it was very obnoxious. Lastly, like many stays in Europe, your key card powered most of the room and AC. However there was a mini fridge in the room, and this function made it useless to use. The fridge was actually unplugged when we arrived.

Lovely place!

Beautiful accommodations, great location in the Oltrarno for a little more calm than main town.

We liked the space, the comfort and the location. We appreciated having drinking water and access to free espresso by machine. There was a mini fridge and safe. The instructions to enter the building and room were straight forward. The area felt safe. It was nice to be able to unpack and hang our clothing. It was quiet and we could open the windows for fresh air. Our room faced the back of the property so there was no view. The location was very convenient to everything we chose to do and it was easily walkable. We really enjoyed being able to pop in to a few places around the corner for appetivo, cafe, drinks, gelato and meals. The communication was good and the one issue we had was addressed but not able to be resolved while we stayed two nights. The shower had a main shower head and a handheld that sprayed water. Unfortunately, the main overhead shower head would not produce water. We assume the diverter was broken. We were able to shower using the hand water sprayer. The person in charge of the property was aware and called for a plumber. The plumber was not avail. during our stay so we made due with the water that was working in the hand sprayer.

Great location! Easy to walk everywhere. Very clean. Owner let us leave our luggage at the property before check in as we arrived early in the morning. Nothing.

Coffee wasn’t refilled for our second morning. A small inconvenience

The bed was comfortable. The shower was so nice. Near the subway and restaurants. Great place for a quick stay. 24 hour front desk is awesome and so helpful and friendly

The location was close to all major attractions. It was very clean , quiet and the host communicated very well. It would have been nice to see someone at the reception area once or twice? But, honestly, everything was taken care of, so it ended up not being a huge deal.

Everything we didn't want to leave. Coming from a hospitality background myself. They have got everything correct here. Absolutely fantastic place. The owners should be proud. Nothing it was brilliant

Location Floor dirty, shower did not work, and after calling several times, nobody came. Needed to call a home-repair plumber to get some guidance. Staff was very rude since the beginning, and not helpful at all.

Lunaria Suites was the perfect choice for my time in Florence (travelling alone). The check-in process was super easy, and the location is ideal — very central, easy to find, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the stylish bathroom and the high-quality products provided — such a thoughtful detail. Despite the central location, the room was quiet and peaceful (at least mine was, as it didn’t face the main street). Ginevra was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. She was easy to reach via WhatsApp and gave great recommendations for restaurants, bars, and advice on taxis. Highly recommended! Couldn't figure out how to work the shower for ages but managed eventually! The waterfall shower head didn't work for me.

Fab location, modern decor, extremely clean, spacious rooms & bathroom, very relaxed vibe overall Only small inconvenience was couldn’t get the shower tap to work (until we found handy guide at reception) and we never got the waterfall shower head working so just had to use the hose. As we checked in online and key was left at reception was unsure who to contact to ask for help. This was very minor though and still had a lovely experience - just an item to note.

Beautiful interiors and spacious rooms, with a home from home feeling. Fantastic location.

The location was perfect. The room was decorated nicely and was clean. The check in was easy. Nice complimentary toiletries. Comfortable bed. The wifi was broken and wasn’t fixed while we were there. Given the history of the house and the street, I was very surprised to see the books available and rooms did not reflect this. Dostoevsky wrote “The Idiot” in that very house and there were no copies for guests to read or anything relating to Dostoevsky. It seems strange to include him in the name and then provide nothing to inform visitors about him or the book. Machiavelli also lived on the street and the building is opposite the Medici palace. There was no mention of this anywhere either. Dostoyevsky was the reason I chose it so I was disappointed there was nothing about him except the plaque outside the door .
