Campanile Fontainebleau

The staff was friendly. One socket in the entire room, literally none to charge your toothbrush in the bathroom or something. AC is loud and ineffective. WiFi doesn’t work properly.

Hotel was in a good location. At hotel shuts down from noon to 5:00 so you cannot enter early. That was kind of a problem. My main issue was there was a heat wave and the owner of the hotel refused to turn on air conditioning. We had no control over the air and it was sweltering in the room. I am very heat and Toler ant and it was a miserable experience. When the manager turned on the air for a while the owner came in turned it back off. It's Soviet Style Heating and air. You don't get to customize it if they decide to have it on you get it if they don't you don't get it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anybody

The rooms were hot with not fan or AC. The bar downstairs had AC and thought about sleeping on the couch in the bar. When checking in there was a self accessing machine on the outside of the building to give you the key. Have never had that at a hotel.

The reception desk was unstaffed much of the day. I was surprised that I could not order a taxi to the train station, apparently because it is too short a distance to be worth it to the driver. It is a long way to walk with luggage though (2 miles). I did manage to get the bus, but the bus stop was still a bit of a walk.

An okay place, clean and comfortable. GREAT location, right across from the Fontainbleu chateau. Check-in was difficult.

Right next to the chateau so we were able to leave our car in the hotel's lot. Hotel is modern, clean and next to a couple of restaurants. Very quiet despite being on the main road. Only drawback was reception staff's limited hours probably due to off season.

Location and parking were great. Our room seemed to be missing some furniture. But we were only there for one night, so didn’t make a big deal out of it.
