Candlewood Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise by IHG

Very nice property but the room smelled like cigarettes everytime you walked in. Overall, it was a nice quick trip

excellent location, service shuttle and super clean

The staff provided exceptional service, demonstrating remarkable patience and efficiency despite a high volume of guests. We were particularly impressed by their ability to accommodate our early check-in request by several hours. The individual who assisted us in the bustling lobby was notably patient and courteous with all guests, and even offered an excellent dinner recommendation. We anticipate a return visit to this establishment.

This was a comfort clean property

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Having a full kitchen was nice. The property was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. The surrounding area can be a little sketchy at night, but there are a lot of food options as well as convenience and discount stores nearby.

No early checkin, had to take my own bags to the holding room which is a room where laundry is done. Had to get my own bags out the holding room once my room was ready and they don't put name tags on your bags. The day of check out the elevator wasnt working so I had to carry my own bags down Four flight of stairs and there was no advance notice. Room and hotel was clean.

Got a good price on Expedia everything was great here would definitely stay again

This is a Candlewood Suites. It is the low end of the IHG family of hotels. The advantage is that if you have a lot of work to do the desk/kitchen counter stretches most of the room so it is easy to work on a project. This particular location surprises you when you check in as they charge for parking that is not disclosed when you make a reservation via Expedia.

The studio with a queen bed was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the halls could use some updating and you will definitely need a car to get around.

Exceptional

I liked the Latina Representative at Check-out. She was very polite and pleasant. I didn't like Genesis, she was the young lady at Check-in. She came across as annoyed and like we were bothering her. The toilet in the room was leaking on the floor and the shower water was backed up.

staff were nice, room very clean $10.00 per night to park. this is a joke. was not told this up front

Property was nice and comfortable and great location. Front door didn’t look like an inviting front door so we walked around entire bldg looking for the entrance. Front desk staff was not personable at all. Wasn’t rude but no small talk and never made eye contact. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

They advertise airport shuttle and shuttle to the port but the airport shuttle has specific hours and the cruise port shuttle is through a third party for $17.50 per person.
