Holiday Inn Express Ft. Lauderdale Cruise-Airport by IHG

The whole shuttle pickup service the hotel claims to offer might as well be nonexistent as no one came to pick up our family of 9 after calling when our flight landed and was told the driver would be there in 30 mins. Well after waiting for 1hr 30mins we all had to catch an uber.

It was very well located but it was very hot and humid outside and it was smelling bad inside,

Excellent location; safe area and close to whatever you can imagine you need. Very good breakfast.

I really enjoyed the common area was located on the 4th floor, Alway enjoyed all the bathroom toiletries were Dove, this helps when you have sensitive skin

If we had stayed more than one night, we would've chosen another place or asked for a different room.

Room was clean. Pretty decent breakfast. Free buss from airport to hotel. Transport from hotel to cruse port is 15 bucks per person. Better to use a Uber.

We arrived very early after our cruise. The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage so we could go explore the town. It worked out perfectly because there was a free shuttle that has a stop right outside the hotel. The location was great with some good, walkable restaurant options. The free breakfast was good too The only downside to our stay was that our room had a musty smell.

Clean room. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good pool but loungers didn't have shade covers. Good location with airport shuttle and free community shuttle right outside hotel to go to the beach. The water taxi stop is nearby too. There is another (paid) public bus that will get you places easily too. Supermarket and other food options in vicinity. Aircon unit was noisy.

Great stay for the night before our cruise! Lots of great food options near by as well. Very convenient parking and only 10 minutes to port.

It is right next to a wastewater facility, but since I’m a wastewater operator, it didn’t bother me too much.

Easy & comfortable overnight hotel before cruising out.

The location proximity to the cruise port and airport. Shuttle from the airport doesn’t run all night. And the cruise port shuttle is crazy expensive.

The location The bed linens had not been changed. I found a bottle cap in my pillow. The pillows were too soft.The toilet pressure was terrible. The shower head was not adjustable.
