Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Wayne Southwest

We travel out and I don’t think I will ever consider Fairfield inn again.

Clean and super nice staff. Room was nice. Did not care for breakfast selection. Out of bread for toast. Out of waffle batter. No water to drink. AC unit made a terrible loud noise. They were able to switch our room. Stayed 2 nights. The 2nd night, our tv was acting up and unwatchable. Beings it was our last night and we were tired when we got in, we just went to sleep. Same problem with it the next morning. Not sure what that was about. Could have been internet or wi-fi? Just reported it upon checkout and hopefully they got that fixed.

Very nice facility very clean facility. Everything was wonderful at the breakfast. Cannot complain about one thing. We will stay there again.

Biscuits and gravy was pretty much empty when I got there at 8:15 am.

Check in time was 3:00pm and at 5:00pm our room was not ready . I was told it would be a wait as they are working on getting a room cleaned. We were offered coffee with the wait, but no apology was given for the inconvenience. They stated I could not get compensation due to booking through Expedia , but yet asked if I would like to become a member of Marriot to start earning reward points. Why would I become a member. Would not stay here or recommend.

Air conditioning in our room sounded like a table saw when it started up.

Bottled water would have been nice. Breakfast, while average, was appreciated. No need to eat the same thing in a chain.

WiFi would not connect to any of our devices which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was an hour later than usual due to staff issue. Overall it was an okay experience

Wonderful staff, very polite, helpful and went above and beyond for a few requests. Hotel appeared run down, our room was out-dated and carpet and bathroom needed more thorough cleaning. So some positives and negatives with our stay.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, which made check-in and any questions easy to handle. The hotel was clean—I’d rate it about a 4 out of 5—and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. It’s located in a nice neighborhood with convenient access to nearby shopping, which was a big plus. The breakfast was pretty basic, but it got the job done. Overall, a solid stay and I would consider coming back.

The room I got smelled like smoke. There were no bags in the trash cans. Couldn't figure out how to use the WiFi. Don't think it was worth the $110/night
