Foz Presidente Comfort Hotel

The hotel was excellent and the location is a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars plus shops , a very safe area overall and the locals had time for us , the hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good . Would stay there again ! Had a minor hiccup with the tourist office in the lobby mainly through us not speaking any of the local languages , made the day out a bit of a mess , best to stick with Booking.coms app for day trips which we did for the rest of our tours which worked out very good

English talking people at the front desk would be great service for many visitors

Spacious room, nice restaurant, nice outside spaces (including pool). There is a car park in front of the hotel. The door to the bathroom was broken. They debited the card 1 day before the actual booking without notifying. I would have liked to pay in another way, I don't think that's nice.

Central location in Foz, close to bustling restaurant and bar district The hotel is outdated and in need of renovation. The room was not properly cleaned, with long black hairs on the floor and towels. Breakfast consisted almost entirely of overly sweet options like cakes and pastries, which felt outdated. The swimming pool was very dirty, with a thick layer of sunscreen and oil on the water, and old plastic furniture around it. Overall, not a pleasant stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The biggest drawback was that there was no hot water kettle in the room. So if one wanted to have a cup of coffee in the early morning or late night it was not possible. One had to go to the restaurant and bring some hot water. The other facilities in the room were also very basic so we can by no way call it 4 star

The room was pleasant, with a good size balcony, and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath for two. The room was very clean and the cleaners were friendly and attentive. The receptionists were very good, and one could speak English too. One receptionist in particular was excellent and helped me to find a hairdresser/manicure/pedicure nearby very quickly. He also helped me organise the Rafain show when I could not book it online. He was super and I am sorry for not remembering his name. The buffet was very good both for dinner and breakfast with everything we liked and the staff there were excellent too. We have not used the pool because of the extreme heat but the surroundings were pleasant. The area was very safe despite some comments. Just two blocks away there were lots of shops and a shopping centre. The hotel has no character, with no arts/paintings on the walls, some badly positioned plants and in need of a full decoration. The pool has toilets right next to the bar and facing the tables and chairs. Not nice! The buffet area is also uninspiring. We found the our bedroom pleasant but we could hear every conversation from the room adjacent to ours.
