Tarobá Hotel

I didn't like very much staying in Taroba Hotel, very disappointing, very small rooms and tiny beds! The room was extremely small and very dark, with only 4 beds for 2 adults and 2 children. However, the beds were so tiny, the air conditioner was dropping regular water on floor. Even when I made a claim, they were too busy to help me, just mentioned via booking.com message that the size of the room and beds were clear in the description, but they could get a solutionor talk to me, so disappointing.

This hotel is great value for money and in a good location in the centre with many things in walkable distance. The staff were very friendly and the rooftop was cute The breakfast wasn’t amazing and was the same every day. When I checked in there was a weird smell in the room which really threw me off. I asked to change but they were fully booked, understandable. The smell went away after a while with the aircon on and i sprayed my own scent.

We were also charged for the water we drank from the room fridge. There was no price list so I assumed it was gratis. Rooms are small, and we could hear a baby crying. Public areas are also small. Not a very comfortable place to hang out after a hot day at the falls. Internet was horrible.

Dinner buffet at the hotel had very few options, especially for vegetarians. Breakfast did not taste fresh. Pool was in maintenance so that was a shame. Overall interior felt quite worn and outdated.

Breakfast is good. And facilities is good. Far from local life if you want to walk outside.

Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal, one of the best breakfasts we´ve ever had and we go through a lot of hotels. Staff was very approachable and friendly. The location was pretty good as well- had a 24hrs pharmacy and two late-night restaurants nearby. But, the hotel also has many food options if needed. Amenities are great, especially the games & entertainment room for kids. Parking was a nightmare, especially because there is no elevator access from the upper floors (super hard to get into the hotel with your luggages and staff didn´t alert us beforehand, otherwise we would have unloaded in front of the hotel). The lot is also extremely tight and there´s only one ramp going up and down so you have to pay extra attention. Also, the luggage carts were kind of hidden, wouldn´t have seen them unless I had asked as the workers also didn´t tell us about them.

Everything was there if you needed it. It was nice to come and relax in the rooftop pool after exploring the surrounding area. There were a lot of options for breakfast and having a gym on site was great too, as well as the games room for the kids! Nothing

Only breakfast for a 4 stars , the rest is 1 star Room and bathroom very small , bed not comfortable. The staff not help me to solve one problem and there was a big cockroach running around the room, it means that the room was not cleaned well and for a 4 stars hotel this is very serious

Wonderful bed and breakfast

The hotel is in a great location, close to a supermarket and right across the street from the bus station, where buses to the waterfalls and the airport go. We had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and very clean, and Denise cleaned it every day and changed the towels. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. Our baby especially liked the rooftop pool, playroom and the decoration. The staff is friendly, although many do not speak English. A big thank you to Stephanie who helped us with organizing taxis and was generally always available to explain everything in English. Difficult communication in the restaurant because no one speaks English, but we didn't stay hungry :)
