Good location. Nice facilities My stay required two room changes as there was a bad smell in my room. But the staff was very accommodating and helped me out by offering a rim that finally didn’t smell.

The location of the property is really good! You have a shop that is open 24/7 to get drinks, water, snacks and much more. The rooms are perfect for what we needed it for and would stay here again. The breakfast area even though was included. Could potentially be better as lack of food during the timeframe advised.

Not located directly in town either you drive (short distance) or best bet take an uber as the roads are narrow with hills. It’s fine for most who are familiar with driving in Italy.

Nice clean room. The room was warm. It was not possible to turn on the AC. I openend the window each day and cooled down the room.

Location and the restaurant I had a single room and the bed those rooms is only 1.9m and that’s a bit too short for me.

rooms are relatively small, there is plenty of rooms that have noise from the front desk and others that are in the ground floor. The breakfast is extremly good for american standards, but just satisfactory for Eurpoean standards.

Cleanliness

This is a four-star hotel; however, there are no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Except for a shower cap, soap, and shampoo, no other toiletries were provided in the bathroom. There were no tissues in the room. The breakfast was very modest, and if you arrived at the restaurant around 9 AM, almost no warm dishes were left. There was also a strange smell in the corridor.

I had to go to a business meeting, and Villa Mercede seemed like a good option for a short trip with the family. The issue was not the hotel but Frascati as a town; difficult for pedestrians and more intended for people with private vehicles. No taxis were available at night so we needed to walk to reach places with a small kid. The breakfast was great, and the waitress was extremely kind at the breakfast service. Beds, sheets and towels were clean, which is much appreciated in Rome. The pillows and mattress were super hard, to the point my head ached the first night. Communication was not great; I sent a message requesting a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel without a response. It seems Frascati is more intended for local tourism, so they provide limited information. You have to pay for the water in the minibar. Even while not expensive, it should count as a courtesy for guests.

Location was not really that close to anything at Frascati. Quite a hike to get up to Piazza Roma.
