Staff is excellent. Views are beautiful. A bit too expensive. The food in the restaurant is almost too rich- keep the dishes simple and clean.

I had a wonderful stay at The Lead Hotel in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the attention to cleanliness was excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I truly felt at home and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this one is easily one of my favourites. In fact, I even extended my stay by an extra day just to spend more time enjoying the hotel. The property is beautiful, and the staff are exceptional, every single person I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you for the complimentary cheesecake - it was such a thoughtful touch and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to visit Sierra Leone again and stay here.

As someone who spends close to 100 nights a year in hotels around the world, I don't say this lightly: Lead Hotel Freetown far exceeded my expectations. A genuinely outstanding stay on every dimension that matters. Three things stood out: 1) Design and layout. The property is beautiful - aesthetically thoughtful, immaculately clean, and lifted by the most gorgeous pink flowers throughout the grounds. It sets the tone the moment you arrive. 2) Food. The ground-floor restaurant is Michelin-quality, both in taste and presentation, with a wide range of European and American options. Breakfast in particular was exceptional and something I looked forward to every morning. 3) Service. This was my first time in Sierra Leone, and the team made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. I received a room upgrade, lovely surprise touches like complimentary dessert sent to the room, and every question I had was addressed immediately. There was also a real, visible effort to seek feedback - rare and very much appreciated. Special thanks to Ester, Hashim, and Naseem, who each went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The location is superb, and the surrounding environment felt very safe throughout my stay. One piece of constructive feedback: the hotel transfer service to and from the sea coach terminal could be tightened. I waited roughly 20 minutes on both legs versus the time originally agreed. Worth addressing, given how strong everything else is.

Confortable and big rooms The rest , restaurant and the rest of facility can be improved

Clean and comfortable room with amenitiesfor of home allowed me to prepare meals each morning, wash clothes all while experiencing a tranquil getaway. The induction stove only allows one pot to cook at a time and the washer machine was a little moisy.AmenA

Don't recommend it to people with knee issues because there are a lot of steps and inclines, but the hotel was truly accommodating.

This is my 5th or 6th time at this property and each time, the staff outperforms the previous visit. Today was the same. Everyone on site is helpful and responsive and the property is kept in immaculate condition. The pool is amazing and the food was great.
