The hotel is conveniently located near the Kawaguchiko station and bus terminal – easy to travel to local attractions. Mount Fuji view in front of hotel. Polite and friendly staff, helpful on queries to local transportation and attractions queries. Gift of postcard from hotel. Some dinning options available. Room is clean and functional but a bit dated. No onsite laundry.

Owner was really nice and accomodating. The place had a good view of Mt. Fuji. Our room had a nice traditional Japanese interior.

The overall vibe is kind of old, the lobby, the corridor, also the black wallpaper inside the room is not so nice. I think it could be improved to create the room more lighter.

Conveniently located in front of the train and bus station, it was perfect for our short stay. There’s also a bike rental right next door which we used on the second day and it was very comfortable for all the activities we had planned. They don’t store your luggage after check-out (they do before check-in though). We didn’t have a fixed hour to leave the town so we managed to leave early so this wasn’t a problem.

the staff are wonderful. So kind and friendly - they were the highlight of our stay. We saw mt fuji from our window - which was amazing. A bit outdated. But still very comfortable. The elevator was tiny.

Walls are thin as our neighbours were a bit noisy but that can happen anywhere. We slept well .

Very close to the train station, 5min walk of that. Also had a killer view of Fuji from my room Not updated at all. You can tell it used to be a hotel for business purposes like people traveling for work

Stayed 2 nights here, one before and one after climbing mt fuji. Plaza Inn is good base for preparing for the climb and resting after the climb. Good location just opposite the bus station from shinjuku and fuji 5th station. Staff is very friendly too and allowed me to leave my luggages between my stay. A bit run down but that is the charm of Kawaguicho
