TOCORO. Mt.Fuji Station HOSTEL Kawaguchiko

Shared bathrooms and showers were clean and modern.

Great, comfortable place right next to the train station and 7-11. There was quick communication when we had questions. Only thing that would make the stay better is if there were plastic pillow covers to protect the pillows. Everything else was wonderful!

Camp room is spacious but too cluttered, i think the camp chairs are not necessary. I only had 2 suitcases, but hard to put up our suitcases due to camp chairs. But overall it's nice stay, location is 10/10. Too cluttered

Very convenient location, near the station. Very clean, shower and restrooms spotless.

I had a wonderful stay here. The location was excellent! Just a 5-minute walk from the station, with everything conveniently within walking distance. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and they even arranged for our luggage to be delivered to our next destination, which made traveling so much easier. They also held our luggage when we arrived before check-in. The room and shared showers were also very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Very close to the Kawaguchiko station, the restaurant, very clean. Personally I'm not a fan of hostels but if you are, this is the perfect place for you, super convenient.

Location The hostel is above a restaurant. You have to access the restaurant to ask for the person in charge of the hostel. While this person is nice, the restaurant staff is not very nice and friendly.

It was inexpensive, comfortable, and clean. The restaurant was tasty and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay again.

The location, it is clean! The space. For families more than 3 people is not a good choice

Great location. 1 minute walk to the train and bus station. 7-11 2 minute walk. Super clean. Everything in near perfect shape. We stay 7 days at this hostel. No issue great place.

The hostel doesn't have facilities for carrying luggage up the stairs, and the stairs are short. The only thing they offer is luggage storage for an additional fee. They don't offer any amenities that, compared to the price and other places I've stayed in, do offer.

Spacey. Triple but enough space for everyone to roaming around. But not really ideal for big luggage. Great location just across the bus terminal. Few meters away from famous tourists spot Thin wall, very noisy in the morning and i can hear it very clearly the footsteps, people talking, going up and down the stairs. Stairs only. Althou only 2 level buildings but might be little hard for guests with big luggage.

Nice stay

Location is near kawaguichiko station. The shower facility is excellent. Room is a bit too small.and bed is a bit too hard. The room is on the second floor and there is no lift. Very difficult to carry up heavy luggage up second floor due to the steep staircase. And there is no kids size slippers.

We booked the 'Camp' family room. It was adorable and the kids loved it! It is like an indoor camping trip complete with tent and camping table and chairs. VERY clean and a lot of attention to detail. Shared bathrooms were up to date, clean and looked like a 4 star hotel. You would never consider it a hostel compared to other countries. Location was great for accessing bus and trains as well as great viewing spots of Fuji (if you aren't climbing it). Also very close to car hire locations. There was noise early in the morning from other guests leaving to climb Fuji, but that's more about other guests than the booking itself. A note in terms of the area, we went to get dinner at around 7pm and nothing was open. Not sure if this was due to it being a public holiday the next day of if its usual. There is still, of course, old reliable Lawson down the road as back up :)

Everything was explained in very good detail and it was so close to the kawaguchiko train station I didn’t like the fact that someone took our room because they decided to open the door and take the key without looking at their own booking. I was assigned to be in room 5 but someone was already there and the guy asked us if we wanted to stay in there room which was 7. We didnt want to go to the room we were assigned because they had already claimed the room so instead we went to room 7. If that person had actually read instructions properly it would be alright.

Location Wifi was terrible.

It’s near at the station. The bed’s really comfortable. The toilet and the shower room are clean. Not too much of a problem but we weren’t able to leave our luggage in the morning when we arrived in Kawaguchiko around 8:30 am. They only accept luggage storage starting from 11:00 am. So we just stored our luggage at a coin locker.

Well run property. Convenient location close to the station but still quiet. Wish the bar stayed open after the restaurant closes at 8pm.
