The hotel needs to be fully renovated. It is old and uncomfortable. The futon mats were dirty The refrigerator was hot They only provided a hand towel (warn) and towel, no wash cloths If you don't pre-order food, you can't get it at the hotel The only reason I'm giving it a 2 is because of the location and view of Mt Fuji from the room

i liked the big rooms i liked the location i liked the futton re rooms were old and had details like a ripped curtain and torn wallpaper that affected the appearance of the room

The installations looks a little but old and the elevator feels a little bit weird.

The view from our room! Exceptional, had a view of Mount Fuji. Waking up to it was like a dream! Only issues involved communication prior to arrival regarding the shuttle bus and breakfast there should be options for foreigners we couldn’t eat it.

Good location on the lake. Beautiful large room. On site onsen was great. I’d book again just for the onsen

Location by the lake was great and our room had a great view of Mt Fuji Hotel is showing its age although it's clean

The property it self is too old

Location and view from room. Not a value for the price charged.

Location, stop 6 of the Red line, walking distance from the Ropeway. The onsen facility was great. The view from room 301, lake on one and Mount Fuji on the other side! The restaurant: haute cuisine and very attentive service (even though I barely ate cuz they don't cater to vegetarians with this sort of cooking style). The tatami in our room was either badly worn out or dirty. Can't say. The ventilation system in our toilet was defective. We kept getting cigarette smoke and kitchen smell in room from it. The first yukata and a face towel we found in the room were dirty but when we informed the staff they were immediately replaced.

The staff was friendly. The room was quite big. The access to the Onsen. The mattress was thin. The breakfast windows: either at 7 or 8am The corridors could use some revamping.

The view of Mt. Fuji from our room was amazing. The location of the hotel was great.

Location is okay Dirty

Great view of Mt. Fuji and it’s just across Lake Kawaguchiko

the location is not too bad... near to the lake it is ridiculous that we need to pay for the onsen even if we don't want it. on top of that they make us paid extra as they insist that we didn't put the children's age. the receptionist who is a Japanese gentleman don't even speak simple English and he had to use google translate to communicate with us. ON top of that, he was not friendly and yet put up an angry face while helping us with the check in. Luckily there is nicer guy who is able to speak English helped us to check in and explain clearly to us the breakdown of the hotel charges.
