Staff was great and breakfast pretty good. Unfortunately, there was a $20 fee daily for the parking because of an event in UF.

I wasn’t very happy after my stay because I was charged $24.50 after checkout. I prepaid for the room and was asked for my credit card at check-in for a security deposit. After a week, the amount wasn’t credited back, so I called to find out when we could expect a refund. I was informed that was a parking/safe cost. There was no mention of this when we checked in or online when I made reservation. I questioned the person who answered and they said they would look into it and call me back. There still has been no return call.

The hotel is convenient for visiting the UF. Easy to access and near at the College. Clean and parking.

Great, clean, and affordable hotel located right next to the university . The staff is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, a wonderful stay and a great value. Highly recommended!

Welcoming staff. Convenient. Location is great for UF visits. Flashing light all night made it impossible to fall asleep. Had to add an additional night to my visit to Gainesville and got another room, and the same flashing light all night. Maybe it’s the fire alarm? Green and bright, besides that the place is great.

The next night there was a HUGE COCKROACH IN MY BED. The lady at the front desk my 2nd night was great. She came and killed the bug. She apologized, but didn't offer me any room accommodation/discount & I didn't ask for any because that was not my intent. It would have been nice if she offered me a discount though. We checked the room for more bugs, and we didn't see any. That doesn't mean there weren't more of them though. I tried to sleep, but was too afraid. When I checked out, I told the front desk my experience. I left a note for the manager. Again, no discount was offered or applied, but they did add a $20 parking fee, claiming it was a busy weekend. There is no parking attendant, and no one even asks for the license plate, so this charge was ridiculous and is just a money grab on a busy weekend. The manager did call me to discuss the cockroach problem, and left me a message that he was refunding me some money for the 2nd night. I tried to call him back but could not get through to the hotel. There were 2 phone prompts - 1 to make a reservation & 2 for all other calls. I pressed 2 & the message said the voicemail is full.

Good location

Management and front desk staff were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The only issue was that the shower had very low water pressure. I didn’t wash my hair during my stay, but if I had, it would have been difficult to rinse the shampoo out. Everything else was great, and it was a wonderful place to stay while visiting my son at UF.
