Econo Lodge Gallup West

No ice machine, no kleenex, broken security lock on back door, broken screen on window.

First off on line description could use revision if it stated that this hotel was a weekly/ monthly rental on top of a regular econo lodge i would've booked elsewhere. Upon arrival there was no one at the desk I rang bell and tried calling for someone to check me in. 15 minutes later the desk attendant came in the front door as he went to taco bell he said.. I asked for a lower unit as I have a stability issue from Parkinsons so stairs are extremely risky. But all they had clean was upper units. This was around 10 pm. The guy went to program the key and he said his Key programmer wasn't working. Going upstairs it looked like someone swept the floor in the hallway and left the pile on the floor. Got to the room window was wide open moths and bugs were flying around like a bug airport. Jumped in shower after long drive and the shower worked decent went to get out and low and behold no towel at a my wife had to go downstairs again to get 1 towel. Here's to top off room condition and annemities not a single trashcan. The beds were comfortable but with the tweaker going in abs out their rooms all night ruined the rest of this horrible stay.

Cleanliness and the room of the hotel.

New management seems unsafe. They did not ask my name, charge for incidentals, look at my ID, or take my credit card before handing me a room key. When I got to the room, the lights didn’t work and the beds weren’t made. This was the most unsafe I’ve ever felt in a hotel and I ended up leaving to stay at another hotel in the area. Since I had already checked in, I wasn’t able to get a refund, either.

There was literally nobody around to address the issues. I left my room key on the counter, packed up my things, and left. Finally, the hotel listing said it had EV charging. It absolutely did not. Worst hotel I’ve ever dealt with and nobody was able to help. A waste of money and 45 minutes of my life. The Red Roof Inn across the street was fantastic.

Nothing We tried calling the hotels main number 4 times with no answer. Upon arriving at hotel we were greatly concerned at the state of the building. It has an under new managemenr sign tacked to the front of the building which is unkempt and dirty. The curtains in all of the rooms facing the road looked like someone had been looking out. They were all haphazard and stained looking. Once inside we found a note that said they were no longer serving breakfast and to call another number. The lady that answered the phone at the second number did not identify herself or the hotel. After explaining myself numerous times she finally got that I was calling to check in. We canceled our reservation with this hotel due to general safety and cleanliness concerns. We ended up making the 7 hr drive back home. It was extremely disappointing. You should ask for current pictures and hotel policies.

Room nice and clean area. And outside bad food in the morning did not happen no ice machine

As far as I could tell, I was the only person in the hotel. And I left without going into the room. And they refused to give a refund although hotels.com did. Lots of signs about not being responsible for loss or theft. Fire doors all locked. Really a scary, dangerous looking place. Said under new management and the econolodge sign was just a temporary banner. Avoid this place.

Advertised an EV charger, total lie. Advertised Continental breakfast,total lie. No breakfast not even coffee by 8:00 in the morning. No ice machine or ice. No Kleenex in the room. This place is horrible.

Price was the reason we booked with this location but it wasn't convenient for our travel destination. The availability of a "breakfast included" was not what we expected therefore disappointing.

Nothing There was a passed-out man in the stairwell. The facilities had terrible upkeep, and we could hear TVs playing from other rooms. There was also mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the beds in other rooms banged against the wall all night. Not even ice was available. Telephone in room didn't have a cord to use the phone. No sign out front to indicate what hotel it was. Cut our stay short and went to a much better hotel.

Once you walk in it smells like weed.

The Galway’s smelled of fentanyl, security doors on the side of the building broken. Staff not friendly.

clean look nice but I think would be nice to have more confortable pillows lady in the lesh was very polity and kind . Also didnt have toilet paper

Seems like the owner of this motel doesn't care about anything but the money. The hotel looks dirty from the outside, the inside is disgusting, smells like a casino in there. You got a clerk that hangs out with her crackhead friends during work. Horrible awful place to stay.
