I will never go back vending machines Not working stains. on the floor torn windows screens pool that should be heated is freezing cold. I had to switch rooms and the next room. They gave me had a heavy smell of mildew. We'll never stay there again ice bucket had mold growing in it

Our room was supposed to be to be a 2 queen bed room. We have flight delays and got to the hotel early morning and they charged us for the room but only gave 1 bed for 4 people. Our toilet wouldn’t flush and there was hair in the sink. Also the ceiling inside our room was messed like water damage and then they tried to patch it. Ordered shuttle service from the hotel and our flight was very late, I contacted the driver early enough that he didn’t have to come to get us and we wouldn’t be there yet they still charged for the shuttle service and did nothing for it. I would never stay there again.

It was nice and convenient great breakfast

Super cold rooms , Restroom needed a lil more attention but over all stay was and will be our go to place .close to everything Stores , Restaurants and pleaser pier ,very friendly staff we booked a two queen bed room online but they only had A king suite so it was a pleasant stay .!!! Room served its purpose, Pool was freezing and smelled bad that was the only down fall 🙁

Property could not provide at least toothpastes. We came with nothing, last minute decision so we had to buy everything, I know it’s not the properties responsibility but however, most hotels provide at least toothpaste. Room was very large, clean but the king bed felt like a cot.

I enjoyed the balcony view

The lady at the front desk was very swift so that was a plus. Room was just ok. Not at all worth the over $300 bucks for ONE NIGHT and $100 hold on my debit card. My patio door would not unlock and felt like it was welded closed. IT would not budge. Indoor swimming pool was too cold, restroom had chippings on the tub area and other areas of the room was not well taken care of. I will say that i had a good night's rest. Bed was comfortable. Overall, not interested in staying there again. I could have stayed somewhere much nicer for less because I have.

Pretty run down

Room on 4 th floor had a great view from balcony of the océan, & plesure pier. I did have to clean my window to see out from inside though. It's in a great location of walking distance to à lot of places. It was pretty clean , could use à bit more. It did have a bit of musty smell but I chalked that up to how many hurricanes has It survived. The staff were amazing. I would stay here again.

When we first checked in we were fine and ready to goto our room. We got to the third floor and when we entered the room it was still dirty and used from the last guests. We reserved a suite but then had to accept a two bedroom on the first floor with no balcony and we didn’t get reimbursed for the price difference. Then the next morning people kept knocking on our door telling us to get up but we told them we reserved for two nights and the previous shift didn’t communicate with the next. Then we got another call asking for my name to verify and it was annoying how unorganized the place was. Breakfast wasn’t good. The eggs were very watery, sausage burnt, and they were out of coffee. I understand it’s much busier during summer due to family vacations but there were a lot of messes throughout the hallways with sand and water. Still the convenience of being able to walk to the beach is the best part. Though parking was almost an issue since the hotel was full and guests straying having to pack under the entrance awning.

I am writing to follow up regarding a serious issue we experienced during our recent stay at Comfort Inn & Suites in Galveston, Texas. Upon check-in, we were assigned two rooms that were both found to have extensive mold growth. The mold was clearly visible throughout the rooms, including inside and around the air conditioning units, and created a damp, musty, and unhealthy environment. We documented the condition of both rooms with multiple videos, which have been provided. After reporting the issue to the hotel front desk, we were informed that no alternative rooms were available. As a result, hotel staff relocated all four adults in our party into a single king room, as the original rooms were deemed uninhabitable due to the severity of the mold. While we appreciate the attempt to assist us, this arrangement was not acceptable and significantly impacted our ability to rest and prepare for our cruise the following morning. We have since submitted the video documentation and have not received any meaningful response or resolution from the hotel. Additionally, no refund, discount, or compensation has been offered for the $300 per night rooms, despite the unacceptable condition of the accommodations and the disruption to our stay. We booked this hotel through Expedia with the expectation of a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The room itself was unacceptable. There were three bugs on the floor (one alive), no towels or soap, and the bathroom, sink, mirrors, and bed were dirty. The refrigerator still had food left by previous guests, and the room was dusty. I repeatedly called customer service and housekeeping, but it took about four hours for anyone to respond. They only brought minimal supplies, and I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself. Despite the delayed check-in, poor customer service, and unsanitary room, I was never offered any compensation or meaningful resolution. This stay was extremely disappointing.

Rooms were $250/night. Found cigarette butts on the balcony, ketchup packets in the fridge from the prior visitor, soap dispenser fell off the wall. Broken ice machine on fifth floor. Dangerous walk to the elevator from all the water dripping from broken ice maching on first floor and customers leaving the pool. No towels at the pool. Sketchy area. Unable to guarantee parking as lot is not large. Breakfast was decent but crowded. Staff was amazing but clearly overworked and they aren't happy working in a hotel that needs significant upgrades/updates. Close to the beach and Paradise Pier. Close to a convenience store.

Worst hotel in Galveston

I booked a room with a whirlpool it was in every photo I made sure. It was very pricey and I wouldn’t have booked if I knew it wasn’t available. The property couldn’t help me and if I didn’t just check in anyways I would have been stranded.

Don’t count on this hotel to reserve the room you selected upon check in. Very over priced, rooms were very dirty. Had to switch rooms and still gave us an unkept room with broken bathroom items. If I could get a full refund from this experience I would. The ONLY redeeming quality is the free breakfast and close location to Pleasure Pier. Otherwise go look for another hotel.

Our front desk staff was 10/10. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel welcome.
