Great view from the balcony

Gaido’s Seaside Inn was conveniently located near Pleasure Pier and the beach. However, the door to the room needed a push to lock, parking was limited, the bathroom soap dispenser was broken, the walls needed replacing, and there were no grooming items or toothpaste. The cramped breakfast area prevented us from enjoying the free breakfast. Despite the staff’s friendliness, the overall experience fell short of expectations based on online reviews.

The pictures are misleading. We stayed at another hotel. They took 350.00 even though we had insurance. Not happy. Anywhere else if someone misleads customers you get refunded.

I travel to Galveston often, and this was by far the worst experience we have had at a hotel. The hotel was overall in need of some updates. The "courtyard view" is a view of a parking lot. There are no elevators. The pool was nice, except the pool chairs were gross. There were people blasting loud music on their personal speaker and it was inappropriate music and I had a toddler with me. I didn't want to hear that either. The first night we stayed, at about midnight, people were having a full on party. They were blasting music and making a ton of noise, which woke up my kid. My husband had to call the front desk, and they were very helpful with stopping the noise. The ladies serving breakfast were so kind, but the food was very subpar. Also, there is no sitting area to eat at, so you have to take it back to your room. Overall, it was a bad experience, and we do not recommend this location.

Very nice pool, updated cute rooms. Courtyard and parking lot could use some work along with breakfast area. Showers were also not great

Nice breakfast clean room towels need to be replaced thin and scratchy

Loved our stay here. We came for my husband’s birthday. Really enjoyed the pool and the food at Nick’s was delicious. The hotel had a lot of character. I would stay here again.

Facility and rooms are clean. I will say rooms are very outdated and need some work but ok. Pool area is very nice. Great location. Priced decent. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall great place to stay if you can handle a older room

Room was ok. Just not the best. Especially for the price. And should watch what goes on. The smell outside & coming in threw the vents was smoke. And it wasn't cigarettes they were smoking!

Staff was very helpful

The room itself was lacking , Took a long time to check in, the facilty sent a/c service to replace thermastat just after checking in. Went to dinner and a/c failed while we were out.Facility did get A/c running only took a few hrs after reported, facility very run down. Room was clean just in need of update and refresh. Had a supposed Deluxe room. No seating except small strait back chairs. Overall, will not return, not worth the $$. Not sure where all the positive reviews came from.

rooms are older but very clean. comfy beds with lots of pillows. very easy to get to nice beach not alot of walking. and great swimming pool that great grandson loved. Breakfast was good with great variety the breakfast ladies were so nice and kept everything well stocked. we all enjoyed!! would recommend!!

The bed were uncomfortable for me and my husband. It hurt my back. There was barely any water pressure from the shower. The hot breakfast was hard, dry biscuits, undercooked sausage links, and overcooked scrambled eggs. Our kids liked the cereal and a mini pancake maker. Better off going to McDonald's. The pool was nice minus the drunk people. But what can you expect by a tourist, beach party island. It was great to relax and unwind at the beach. That was the point of our last minute trip.

Not terrible but really not worth a stay either. Rooms are outdated, we were locked out of our room twice due to faulty key card thing on the door. Maintenance guy had to come let us in and then do something to the key card thing. Also there is no dining area to enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

No es lo que muestran en la página las habitaciones dan miedo la limpieza del lugar y los cuartos es terrible las piscinas están bien pero el lugar para quedarse a dormir da miedo

The breakfast was pretty good but the ladies that served it were the best part lol. The pool was okay but it felt like they needed to go through and net it because of the bugs. Also, many of the chairs to layout in were broken. The hot tub, though was crystal clear and heated well. Every staff member was kind and if we needed towels or anything just had to ask. For the most part we enjoyed our stay!

Best pool with view of the beach, waterfall, kids area. And hot tub. Made from scratch breakfast with lots of options. Free parking inside gated lot. Great restaurant on site!

My favorite of it all was the beach view, I love the beach and this is located at a perfect spot, and all eating places are within walking distance. The breakfast was good, but the ladies in charge are the most amazing, Rosa and the other lady, sorry I didn't get her name, but I loved them, they treat you like one of their children. I have nothing bad to say about the whole time and experience here, I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone. Thank you very much for all the love :)
