TRU BY Hilton Galveston

I normally don't do reviews but no courtesy from the staff. Outdoor pool was not even cleaned regularly.

Staff was helpful and attentive. Location was wonderful. Pool was nice and refreshing.

Absolutely wonderful. It is our go to in Galveston every year. The only thing this year, they ran out of ice buckets so we did not have an ice bucket in our room. Otherwise, it’s just the best.😎

Ver new and clean. Staff was kind but a little under staffed. Breakfast was awesome.

Breakfast was amazing and I stay in a lot of hotels.. JUST THE BEST!! Bed was terrible. Hurt my back and was worn out and hard..

The staff was very nice but the floor in my room was dirty, when I would feed my dog the food would get covered with ants, and last but not least the ceiling light in the bathroom fell out of the ceiling and when I went to report it the girl at the desk said I needed to email a picture to the corporate office…ummm not my job. I’ve stayed here many times and this is the worst room I’ve been in.

I had booked three rooms (Beachside) Hotel is located right across the street from the Beach. Staff was super friendly. We came early and they gave us access to their pool and parking pass so we could wait until our rooms were ready!!! Rooms itself were spacious, clean and had a small refrigerator, ironboard! Beds were comfortable! Bathrooms had everything needed … shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap as well as hair dryer!! We had a great experience!!

Save your money - I paid $234 to sleep for less than 3 hours in a mediocre room - stay somewhere else where you aren't being nickle and dimed. For a Hilton room it was supremely disappointing. I didn't expect a luxury stay, but I would have been happier in a hotel that had a culture of service.

Fairly new property! My only complaints are: No microwave in room. However, one will be delivered upon request. No ice bucket. However, remember to get one at check-in. The pool is too small to be used by customers of both hotels: TruBlue, and Homesuites by Hilton. I was not told upfront that there is a charge for parking of $20.00 a day.

This hotel is great. The price was very reasonable, rooms fresh and clean with lots of space and the front desk staff was so nice and helpful. I forgot to pack a toothbrush, and when I went down to ask if they had any, they had a whole store of complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.

I feel that the Hotel wasn't worth the money. We had a lot of issues with a leaky air conditioner in room. We did report it. The bathroom was very dirty. Hair on floor and in trash can. Pieces of toilet paper on floor. Not mopped. Also, had trouble getting towels, washcloths, etc.
