Holiday Inn Resort: Galveston-On The Beach by IHG

The rooms were nice and great view!

It’s honestly not worth the price. Might as well invest a little more to the San Luis. You pay parking, the building and rooms are a bit old. The restrooms are good, updated and modern though. The cleaning and maintenance staff are honestly the most helpful and friendly. We got greeted and got the most friendliest goodbyes from them than the front staff. Breakfast staff was also polite and friendly.

The staff was very helpful and the food was very good.

Nice and close to the beach. Great bar and good entertainment for adults and kids. Pool is a little small, hallways are very humid and hot.

We familymooned there as a family of 3. Absolutely loved the location and breakfast Buffett. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was ok except for I was assigned the wrong room. It wasn’t the ocean view room I booked, but the manager quickly resolved the issue.

I accidentally booked the same room twice in Expedia did not refund my money

Pool is for kids, Looks big in the photo for swimming but really a kid pool.

Beautiful property across from the beach with so many things to do on a daily basis. The pool was great! Parking was good, the beds were comfy and the staff was wonderful!

All was good but my only complaint is they need more staff outside by the pool. No one ever came to us to get our drink order and we had to hunt someone down the first time. It took way too long for the second round and we had to go inside to order.

This is a great place to stay especially with little ones. They offer so many activities for the kids even at the pool area. Definitely a great place to stay with family

La habitación de veía muy limpia pero olía fuerte a orine el baño , me cambiaron de habitación al día siguiente entonces el lavamanos no funcionaba bien el agua se acumulaba , las toallas y ropa de cama muy muy limpias las muchachas de limpieza muy amables ( gracias ) El Hotel tiene muchas amenidades el restaurant muy bueno y diversión en las noches 👍 … pero vi varias cucarachas en el área de la piscina y bien grandes . Recomiendo un poquito más de atención con eso no es grato ver tanta cucaracha paseando por áreas comunes , el elevador roto un poco incómodo pues la espera era bastante y a veces teníamos que usar la escalera . Partes muy limpias y remodeladas y otras no

Stayed with small children and everything went very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I mean every staff person that we interacted with was great! Especially the front desk staff from Shawnee!

It has a great location! Close to the beach, Rain Forest, Ihop what I don’t like is that the parking is extra cost.
