The hotel is very dated and in need of much work. The elevators were old and scary to ride. The door handle of the room was extremely difficult to open. The bathroom fan would not turn off. I had no hot water for a shower. I will say the mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable. Would be nice to have fresh fruit other than apples and oranges. I would not stay here again.

Good place for the price. Lots of humidity in the room; carpet damp and slight mold smell. Breakfast was good and the location right across from the beach can’t be beat.

The room was dirty and smelled musty. There was a bug on the bed and the restroom had mildew. I will not stay there again.

I liked how big the bed was and the ocean was right across from the hotel and other places were within good distance and for the most part the staff. A man banged on my door when i was sleeping like crazy just to ask me could he replace my curtains. I let him do it but like come on man i barely slept that day. Construction people were a little rude. There was a roach in my room i killed it the outer base of the tub was nasty I cleaned it up there were roaches outside the room dead and alive. The breakfast was exactly the same everyday but good.... the pool had a film in it and made my skin burn because of so much chlorine you could smell it as soon as you hit the water. There were people and a staff member smoking a cigarette on the premises. But they said something to another guest about smoking outside at the pool. The wait area when you walk In and the rooms had a weird smell I think because of all the new remodeling I had to spray a lot of perfume to make my room smell ok. There was a lot of drilling on the walls when I was there in both rooms next door to me.

Room was clean, everything worked. Breakfast was good. 101 degrees outside and the ac was up to the challenge.

The location was amazing!!! The room was a bit small but I understand it is an older hotel.

Hotel is under renovation. The room I was given was on the 3rd floor and so far from the front. Place wasn't very booked and maybe could have been more convenient. Night stand lamp had defective bulb. The microwave turntable wouldn't turn and Tv is very confusing and hard to find local channels and no sleep timer. Breakfast was really good.

Gross room, filled with black mold. Gave everyone headache and even some of us sick. DONT STAY HERE

Overall I felt that the property was a bit overpriced for a one night stay. The pool was pretty dirty and had questionable things sitting outside of the pool. The deadbolt did work but the theft lock was broken and felt a little unsafe. However, tv was great! I was able to log in with my subscription platforms and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean!

All around the pool was covered with bird poop and feathers. The rooms were horrible, dirty and old. The elevator acted like it was about to break apart and fall. on the plus side. The staff were very friendly and helpful as best they could and they actually had a real breakfast. They did a catfish on the restaurant next-door, and said that that was their bar which hooked me when I looked at their photos online because I wanted a nice beachfront hotel that had a cozy little bar restaurant, but it wasn’t there. It was across the street so that rubbed me the wrong way.

The Good; The property is mature and I really like that. I also enjoyed the layout. It has a great restaurant next door and 61st fishing pier is well within walking distance even with gear. Man the crazy places I’ve managed to get just to cast a line… And most importantly I must mention the staff. They are friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. They also said if we needed anything they would be glad to handle whatever we needed. We just didn’t notice the problems until we returned later that night. The bad; The bathroom was filthy, and I do mean filthy. We were unable to shower because the faucet was defective as well. It has pink mold growing in several spots and the base boards… I’ll never forget sitting there…on an incredibly small toilet,looking at the disgusting baseboards. I had to kill a roach, it was German so it put up a fight and I knew a counter attack was eminent.
