Baymont by Wyndham Galveston

Amazing staff! Very clean and included parking. Room had everything we needed and more. My daughter lost her toothbrush and the front desk provided her one, at no charge. Breakfast was great! Loved the balcony view. Would definitely book here again.

The photo shows the room with a balcony, however, the room I received was second to last room in the back of the property. I could barely see the ocean. I should have thought of this when booking but did not. That is why I gave such a low rating. If you don’t mind not having a decent view from balcony then this hotel is fine for you. I won’t be returning.

The pool was nice and breakfast was good except the need for more protein. The rooms were average and the hotel is priced right. I do like the fact that we had a fridge microwave and coffee maker in the room. Front staff were helpful and nice.

Walking distance to the beach and the hotel staff were really nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

I works get a room on the top floor i if possible. The person above us was EXTREMELY “heavy footed” until 1:40 a.m.! Otherwise, staff very nice and very clean.

The staff was very welcoming. However, the other guests in the hotel were loud and would pull in the parking lot blaring loud music. The elevators stunk like body odor. The room had a weird smell too. We didn't even stay the entire night because of the noise outside. The hotel was nice and clean but had a weird smell. Definitely not worth the price.

Parking was great. Was able to walk to the Seawall. The room was clean and the bed were comfortable.

The room was very spacious, especially if you have kids. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. We love the balcony in our room, the kids loved that. The hotel is really close to the beach, you can even go walking if you would like to. Breakfast was good, but should include some sausage with the eggs. The rest of the breakfast was pretty good. The pillows were a little hard.

Eh. Across the street from a forgotten and destroyed African-American cemetery. Not very modern. Great just for an over-night stay.

Friendly staff

Paid a cash deposit, front desk came back and said the room smelled of smoke. No one smokes. When I mentioned it he shrugged, clapped his hands together and said well it does we can’t give you your deposit back. There was no talking, no listening about the people we saw walking around the property smoking. He didn’t care. So rude and dismissive.

Exceptional

Clean but ocean view which was offered was not what we expected. Breakfast buffet was terrible Eggs unediable.

The staff were so amazing,I made friends with them
