The tv didn’t work staff tried to fix it

Hotel under construction. No television in the room. I was compensated by waiving the deposit. I made a comment that a deposit is returned when checking out. Front desk informed me that deposit are not refunded backs they keep the deposits very shady. Door lock mechanism hard to lock door.

The proximity to the beach and the fact that it was pet friendly . The hotel advertised a tv, extended cable, a micro fridge and the ability to pay at the hotel. There was tv with no remote, no cable or antenna. There was no micro fridge, no telephone to phone the front desk, no room service until you check out, the 2 small areas for pets to relieve themselves were blocked by piles of mattresses and a shipping container. Our room was also charged to our card after we selected to pay at the hotel upon check in.

Staff was super nice and friendly Roaches and gnats were in the room and they was hair all in both beds.. we din’t have a working tv or a fridge or a microwave and we weren’t informed of this until we got to the property.. we paid almost $300 for Thursday to Saturday. Also it’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach which isn’t bad but considering this hotel says Seawall in it’s name is misleading

It sucked. The price was much higher than listed online. They are rude when you CAN locate a staff member. And honestly I feel like I deserve my money back but I would just settle for never staying in one of your shit motels again. The price, the location, the staff, the rooms, the property doesn't make you feel safe and the impersonal touches you had to go out of your way to avoid adding any of.

As for everything going on right now, it’s definitely not the Ritz, and if that’s what you’re expecting, this probably isn’t the place for you. They are currently going through renovations, so things are a little chaotic and you can tell they’re in the middle of improving the property. Because of that, some amenities aren’t available right now, like certain rooms not having TVs, but honestly that wasn’t a big deal for us. You’re at the beach, and most of us are walking around with mini computers in our pockets anyway. They also don’t have an ice machine on-site, but there’s one right next door for a cheap price, so it’s still convenient. Overall, it’s not perfect, but it’s comfortable, clean, and I’ve never had an issue with bugs, which is really what matters most to me when I’m just looking for a place to sleep Also everybody that I have met employee wise. They've been super sweet to me. Granted. The only ones that I do see is at night because I only check in at night after a long day at the beach. Okay, getting into the few things I didn’t love — it’s really not much at all. They do use the 2-in-1 shampoo, so when I forgot my own shampoo and conditioner one time, we were kind of stuck using that, and it’s not exactly the best for your hair. Also, there’s no coffee pot in the rooms, which is a little rough for me because I kind of have a thing for coffee in the morning. But honestly, neither of those were deal-breakers for me at all — just small things I noticed while staying there

We arrived at the location and the guy in the front said the system what down and it wouldn’t be up for hours or until 7am. we couldn’t get a refund because no one responded to our message we sent. I had to spend more money for a different hotel.

Being close to the seawall Roaches, construction on the hotel with limited parking and trash cans everywhere, no TV/Cable, AC unit was hanging off the wall…this place was horrible!

Did not end up staying after I walked in to bugs on the bed. Bed bugs and roaches
