Hilton Galveston Island Resort

I stay here almost every summer, so many memories. Pool is always great. Normally book in the newer building, but wanted a balcony so Stayed in Dolphin building, room A/C sounded like a freight train. But room was nice and comfy. Check in staf,f pool bar staff, 5400 lounge staff amazing. One staff member at check out however rubbed us the wrong way when we notified them error on final bill. Almost made it seem like she thought we were lying. Her demeanor wasnt the greatest. Luckily Manager and another associate were extremely friendly and corrected the error, explaining the one charge we were disputing did in fact get billed to our room in error.

Love staying here ever time we come to Galveston

Very nice staff. Anticipated me needing help to open a door ( my hands were full) and the staff changes directions to come over to me and help me. This level of service happened multiple times during our stay

Hotel was clean, and amenities were well kept. Close proximity to restaurants and beach access.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Our room was very clean, and the view of the Gulf was beautiful. The pool was fantastic and one of our favorite parts of the resort. The only minor downside was the rope dividing the pool, which made it a little inconvenient to swim over to the swim-up bar. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely would stay here the next time I’m in Galveston

Hotel appears to have been updated recently. Great location to restaurants, beach, grocery store and convention center. Great amenities! Every single staff individual that we encountered was friendly and very welcoming. Pleasantly surprised!! I Would choose this hotel for future vacations.

It was awesome just plain awesome. Pool bar was fantastic. We stayed there all day.

I loved everything about this hotel, except $27 a night parking.

Room was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and great location to be able to walk to restaurants and tje beach

Everything was amazing! The breakfast! The swim up bar with beach across the street! Staff was super thoughtful ❤️rainforest next door and overall a great place for couples and families!

This hotel is in a good area, the view was perfect and the staff was very friendly and helped a lot, however the rooms are a little battered; I had to move from my room at 3:00 am because the air conditioning wasn’t working and the room to which they moved me the window curtains did not work. There were cockroaches in the rooms and we saw worms in the pool area.

Not fun!!

Valet people were very friendly. View was not all that great had like a corner view of parking and a peek of the pool. Last day of our trip fire alarm went off at 3am, did let the staff know in the morning during our checkout they weren’t very apologetic about the situation knowing I had a 3year old who woke up crying and was frightened by the loud noise. Room was ok hair dryer was very dusty when I took it out of the storage bag, no microwave inconvenient for a family who travels with kids and are always wanting to heat up left overs at night
