Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Gatlinburg, TN

Great location. Great value for the money. Free and easy parking. Great breakfast, Nice pool. Plenty of helpful and hard working staff. The room was so nice, you could smell the nice new carpet. Great bathroom e.g. shower, lighting, supplied sundries.

The only issue we had was the water pressure was not that great in the showers but we would stay there again

It was perfect in setting I picked out a room with a balcony but didn’t get the balcony.

The location to the attractions was great. The hot breakfast was very good with many different choices. A carpet renovation was happening on the floor above us. Quite noisy for a period of time.

The staff at this hotel was fantastic and very helpful. I accidentally left my AirPods in the room, and as soon as we checked out and got to the parking lot, the staff called me and waited for us at the entrance to return them. I really appreciated their honesty and excellent customer service! The breakfast was great, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room, bed, and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and have absolutely no complaints. I would definitely stay here again!

Location The entire 4th floor was damp and musty. The odor was terrible, our clothes felt damp and stunk after hanging in closet.

Once off the elevator the hallway smelled so bad. Then went in the room it smelled even worse. I used 2 different kinds of air freshener and it didn't help. They told us when we checked in that they only clean the rooms on the 3rd day. Not ture they came in the very next morning and took the dirtu towels but didn't leave a mat for use to step out of the shower on. The breakfast wasn't great the french toast was hard like it was a few days of being reheated.

Another frustrating thing was that the front desk assigned me a room on the first floor, right next to the elevator and restaurant. Obviously, it was extremely noisy. Around midnight and again after 7 a.m., there was constant clattering and banging from dishes, along with nonstop knocking sounds. It was incredibly frustrating and made it very difficult to sleep. I asked the front desk if they had any earplugs because of the poor location of my room, but surprisingly, they didn’t. I was under the impression that earplugs were supposed to be a basic amenity at hotels. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

The only reason I didn't give the room a 1 is because the shower was great.... When we got to our room there was an awful smell. I went down and asked for us to be moved. The room we were moved to was extremely damp. Everything felt damp... The carpet felt like it had just been shampooed. The linens were damp... The smell wasn't much better than the previous room. The beds were way too firm. My husband said the breakfast wasn't great either. Good thing we only stayed one night. Had we booked 2 or more nights, we would've left. Definitely didn't live up to their reputation.

It is in walking distance of downtown. One of the comforters was dirty. The microwave was filthy. The refrigerator did not work and the cabinet both were housed in was falling apart.
