Cool looking room and a very friendly lady The noise from the street is unbearable if you are in the room facing the street. This has to be more clearly communicated or advertised to guests when they are considering this hotel on booking.com.

The property is beautifully designed, keeping its original charm. We stayed at the Skywell Suite and the room was spacious and charming. Daily breakfast was great. On our last day Jane went the extra mile to get the best mee goreng and kuihs for us. The cleanliness and daily cleaning service were rather poor. Improvement on this part will bring the hotel to the next level.

Cozy guesthouse with aesthetic design. Convenient location to explore major attractions in Georgetown by foot. Many restaurants nearby. Mosquitos. No tea in the room.

Quiet, refined and beautiful. The owner is lovely and very helpful and accomodating. It is clean and quiet and perfect for those seeking rest in a cultural heritage property. Close to everything. Highly Reccommend.

The location, the charm of an old historical building The carpet in the room was run down, the room was hot and took hours to cool down enough to be comfortable, the bathroom grouting looked moldy. There are two flights of steep stairs to get to the room. The staff will help you with luggage but be sure you can go up steep stairs. I didn't take breakfast.

I had a hard time finding someone to check in and check out. No one was at the front desk.

Four day stay in Georgetown. Great authentic shophouse which felt like it was your private house. Excellent central location but very quiet.

Beautiful old Chinese shop house in an amazing location in love Lane Mattress was super hard, tap in the bathroom was constantly dripping which was quite loud and as I had the room to the street it was a bit noisy. Only could sleep with ear plugs.

Loved the location, Jane was an amazing host with valuable info on sights to see, where to eat etc. Very, very clean. Old world charm Enjoyed our stay. Since we are in our 70's, the stairs did present a challenge for us.

Very original place and the location is perfect. The hosts were very nice and helpful. We stayed in the north suite and the WiFi was not strong enough to reach there. Also there is a lot of noise from the street so one can only sleep with ear plugs. I guess the other rooms should much better in that regard though.

The stairs are steep although there is a landing after the first floor to rest if you have a heavy suitcase. The shower/ toilet room is small but functional . The room is a duplex and the entrance is on the second floor. The staircase down to the living room and shower room only has a handrail half of the way down and it can be tricky on the final section, especially as the wooden floor is polished.. There are no views from the room but this keeps it cool and peaceful.

Wifi would cut out from time to time, and was not very strong. Would also appreciate some complementary water in the room to avoid asking for it from reception.

Very welcoming owner, beautiful house, furniture etc. In a quiet part of Love Lane. Owner helped us with reservations and gave very good recommendations. You should also check the store with lovely designed clothes. Highly recommended!
