Great location, close to restaurants, and popular sites in General. Has a lot of Rustic charm, and the owner has done a fab job with decor in the common areas. Rooms are a bit dark, lack of natural light, but it’s an old building with a lot of character and charm.’s

Close to the bus station of Komtar and a 2min walk from Bus stop Love Lane with plenty of bars and restaurants around. In the historical part of the city. Small (coffee) shop in the house where you can also order breakfast. Drinking water is offered free of charge. Room had an upstairs balcony/bathroom with sitting area. Friendly staff.

Amazing heritage house with lots of character and lush vegetation just steps from Love Lane, Chulia Street and loads of restaurants. If you are an easygoing type who can appreciate a quaint home stay feel and the unique character of a heritage house and are not put off by sharing a somewhat rustic shower and toilet with other guests, you’ll love it. A little more upkeep here and there would make this place much more comfortable

This is my second stay at Moon Tree this year. Have always enjoyed the vibe. The room is value for money and brings one back to the 50s/60s. It's nostalgic. The staff, Nur and owner Kent are very friendly. Always enjoyed striking up a conversation with Kent who is very hospitable and an excellent host. He has a wealth of information on Penang. It was nice to be back at Moon Tree. ????? Nil
