It was great, the vila is authentic, the front view was amazing, the beach that belongs to the resort is well maintained and you can see turtles all the time. If i ever come back to Gili T i would stay there again. In like a 1km there are bars and we could hear the bass, but anywhere in this area would be the same. Good thing is they closed around 11 so it does not affect your sleep.

The location was great for sunsets and it being quiet. The villa we had was that typical Bali village style which was really well presented for the area that we were in. Bed was comfy and the towels were fluffy. Staff were very good and very friendly. Breakfast was good each morning and it was great eating at the beach across the road. We had a two bedroom villa. Each bedroom was not private with a paper thin wall that only went three quarters up to the roof. The walkways to and from the villa were very rough and difficult to negotiate in the dark. Was like walking on the side of a rocky river bed. In saying this it suited the area. The swimming pool had no shade at all over the pool itself so you were swimming in full sun. We ate at the resort's restaurant and the seafood on seafood night was not edible and well overcooked.

The staff, they were not enthusiastic, nor smiley, seemed bored and fed up all the time. It’s very loud all day and right through the night, music is blaring, doof doof non-stop from nearby bars so it was hard to get an early night, earplugs didn’t help

Every interaction felt personal and genuine, and we truly appreciated the small touches like flower arrangements, handwritten notes, and the warm smiles from every team member we encountered. The food at the resort was also fantastic — fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Dining by the beach with the sound of the waves in the background is something we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a serene, romantic getaway in Bali, Desa Dunia Beda is an absolute gem. It exceeded every expectation and gave us memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Friendly and helpful staff, super comfy bed, very big room, breakfast served on the beach. It was my 4th trip to Gili and whilst the resort was nice, there are better options at this price point on Gili. I booked the "ocean view" villa and I didn't have any ocean view, the included breakfast was a very small serving, no hair dryer, and no TV in the room

We were are staying for a second time already, with family and two kids. The location is fantastic, very calm, you can enjoy your breakfast right in a beach. Javanese style houses gives an authentic experience. Stuff help us to install a bed for kid, so everyone we’re very comfortable. Whole family had a nice time! Just choose a right time going to Gilis , not to ketch the rainy season

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lack of privacy with Beachfront Villa as directly in front of public thoroughfare. Ocean can be seen but not beach. Climbing required to get in very comfy bed as very high and has wide surround.

The hotel is amazingly beautiful in a gorgeous peaceful location walking distance to bars and restaurants and near sunset point and turtle beach. I fell ill on arrival in Gili T, and staff were so supportive and liked after me so well. There was nothing to dislike

The style ad cleanliness great staff, gave us early check inn, the breakfast was great. The bathroom was "outside the villa" but still in the room. Bathrooms were great overall. The lunch was not part to the hotel. The beach in front has a lot of stones but they have a salt water pool and you CA walk for a few minutes to turtle point and get to see the fishes and turtles.

Highly recommend a stay at Desa Dunia Beda! Best breakfast we’ve had on our travels, staff is super friendly and the house we rented was spacious, clean and well equipped. It is located on the more quieter part of the island but everything is with in reach with the bicycles they rent out. Breakfast on the beach with turtles coming up for air was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was perfect!

Location away from the main strip but only a 10 minute cycle ride away. The villas are spacious and has everything you need. The staff are brilliant and we helped an older staff member with the villa cat Sophie and took her to the vet. Hope she now returned an ok. Not the villas fault as can't do anything about it. The access to the sea is full of stones and coral, so you won't be able to swim and turtle watch easily. You definitely need sea shoes

Lovely location, next to the snorkeling beach, at 15 mins horse car ride from the ferry port. Breakfast and Restaurant really great, attention from staff outstanding. Everything we asked for, they took immediately care of. Walking from your Bungalow to the beach, just standing knees deep in the ocean and already seeing all those colored fishes - priceless. But dont forget your snorkeling / coral shoes! Will need to enter the ocean. WiFi was soso. Pavement from main building to bungalows made of single bricks, difficult to walk but dont worry - they will take care to bring your luggage with a handcart. One day it seemed that the type of fruit we asked for was not available, so they made up something that seemed to be nectar. No big deal, but we would have preferred a forehand warning.

This resort is located right on the beach, between Turtle Shore and Sunset Area of Gili Trawangan. The Size of the villa is Big and facilities and amenities provided are on point. The view from the Ocean View Villa is peaceful. Definitely recommend staying here! ?

It was a wonderful escape. A little bit further away from the busy scene and so was nice a quiet.
