Gili Ocean Club - Adults Only

The location was excellent. Very close to everything we needed, but in a quiet area. We could easily access both sides of the island from the hotel. The lovely staff accommodated every request with a smile, from bicycle hire to laundry and booking activities. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean with a lovely little sparking pool. The breakfast menu was limited but delicious and there was a small honesty fridge for drinks and water.

The staff was absolutely fantastic! It was a bit far of a walk.

We had an excellent stay thanks to the very helpful staff. We had a fun time in the pool, with nice cocktails. The room & bathroom were spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable & soft and the AC was good. Special thanks to Malik, Mala & Fassa!

The employee Malik was an amazing host, made me feel more than welcome and enjoyed his company a lot during my stay. Definitely made a life long friend. Property is super clean and exceeded my expectations considering the cheap price for the hotel. Thank you for accommodating me.

I was surprised with the hospitality from the personal from the hotel. They helped us with all of our questions, specially Malik and Manik. The Malik heared that I was not feeling well once and was so kind and brought me a tea that I can feel better. In this hotel I've felt at home even being miles away from my country. The room was very good, bed comfortable and the AC worked well. It was everything clean, very important factor for me. The port it's around 10 min by feet and turle point too. The main street it's one or two blocks from the hotel, I would say that its one excellent location. Nothing

Nice place, central, but quiet, nice rooms, friendly and helpful people. 2x times, I came back from diving and there was no water in the shower. I didn't like that.They said they had to refill the tanks. Also the walls of to the room next door were a bit thin, so you could hear anything.

Clean and friendly staff Falsly advertised as adults only we had 3 small children running around during our stay. We complained and was told its boses family and they had booked 6 years ago which was clearly a lie but also showed us they knew but never bothered to inform us. The main reason we paid more than we would have was because it was supposed to be adults only. They offered us some free drinks then tried to charge us for them until i reminded them of their offer. 1st night scalding hot water so unable to shower as too hot.staff did not fix the problem.moved rooms to cold water for remainder of stay. Pointless complaining as staff clearly couldnt fix problems. No breakfast included and overpriced food at the accomodation. No point having locks on the patio doors as they open when moved to the right leaving a huge opening

Nothing Everything

Had a really disappointing experience with my booking at Gili Ocean Club. I booked a Comfort triple room with shower and King Studio with sofa bed, the King Studio being at a higher price. I paid for the rooms at the hotel upon arrival only to be told AFTER that both rooms were the same Comfort triple room because the King studio was taken. The staff told me the room I originally booked was taken for the duration of my stay and offered me beverage as a compensation which is completely inappropriate! If the hotel did not have the room I booked, I should be refunded the difference straightaway! The property owner didn’t even have the decency to speak directly to me nor to apologise for the inconvenience. I also received notification from Booking that owner has amended the price to a lower value AFTER I paid when I was never refunded the total value of the difference I paid. I attempted to speak to the property owner multiple times and he was never there. At the day of my departure I get told by his staff that he’s going to transfer me back the difference (stating a much lower value that I was entitled too) instead refunding me the money on my card. I insisted on receiving the money back in cash instead and ended up with a partial refund and a FALSE promise to have the reminder transferred to my bank account. NEVER AGAIN!

There was not much to like the place The hygiene was poor. There was absolutely no facilities. The bathroom didn't even had tiles!!! Considering the price, it was terrible.

The staff were very attentive. The pool was deep and perfect for a dip - good afternoon shade. The bed was super comfortable. Pancakes and French toast yummy for breakfast each day. The shower water pressure was low (could possibly be like that all over the island as this was our first visit).

Location was good pretty central Room didn’t get cleaned/ towels changed the whole stay. Shower wasn’t powerful either.
