Gili Tenda Resort

- genoeg keuze bij het ontbijt, maar de maaltijden vonden wij wel erg klein. - Simpel op te lossen, maar wij misten in de badkamer een klein handdoekje om handen af te drogen, en een aparte voor op de grond.

The property was beautiful, clean, and surrounded by a peaceful tropical atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, the pool area was stunning, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was excellent, offering the perfect island experience while still being close to attractions, restaurants, and the beach. Nothing significant. Our stay was enjoyable, and the property met our expectations.

Great place for a chill vibe

Best place in Gili Trawangan. I keep coming back here again and again. This was my third trip, and I truly recommend this place from the heart. It’s clean, beautiful, and peaceful, with friendly staff and amazing rooms. The whole place is filled with a really good, positive atmosphere.

Nice place and stuff

It was such a nice place to stay, the staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Breakfast was really good and they were all super helpful! The rooms were massive, I was worried it wouldn't get cold at night but the AC worked really well. It's located on the other side of the island, so noise after 11pm was minimal. You could hear the mosque at 4 am but very faint compared to some other accomodationn. I would highly recommend this place. Not much negative at all, these are super small and aesthetic comments. For the room size, I think it was missing a big mirror or any mirror in the room. The doors were a bit rusty and hard to lock, but once you knew how to do it it was great. I would recommend maybe updating them as they were a lil rusty.

The property and pool were absolutely stunning and the rooms were very spacious. Sukma was an amazing host and super helpful.

Nice, cosy Tents. Big pool area with several sunbeds. Very helpful staff, 10/10 service. Slooooooow internet, if you plan to do some remote work or meetings, then you have be lucky to make them successfully. The pool water was salty.

It still gets quite hot in the tent even with the airco on, the food was “okay”

Our tent was amazing, comfortable bed and bathroom. We were very impressed with the structure also of the pool and restaurant. We rented bikes directly with them. Also we felt really welcomed by the manager who gave us restaurant recommendations.

The main lady at the reception, Ms Sukuma (apologies if I got that wrong), was an absolute gem! She was so welcoming and so sweet and to mention, always available! She made sure we had an amazing time on the island and checked in on us when we were arriving or leaving for the day. She and her staff hosted us and made our stay the very best. We are definitely going to be staying again.

A typical experience within a tent in a tropical island. Room was equipped with air conditioning working well. Outdoor spaces were clean, equipped and organised. Staff has been always prompt to help and available. All the related services have been sufficient. Nothing

A short walk to the beach and nearer to the calmer part of the island. If you're on a budget, it's a good option. The pool is open until 10pm and can get noisy depending on the type of guests. As they are tents with outdoor bathrooms, consider the practicality of this set-up (no sound-proofing, a lot of bugs, mosquitoes).

This is not a critique of the property as such, more of an FYI for other travellers. It's a bit far from the main stretch closer to the harbour so if you intend to keep going to the restaurants and pubs there, it helps if you rent a cycle/ e-bike. It's too long to walk to the harbour side. (there are restaurants within walking distance as well)

Omg to be honest I don’t want to share this place with anybody. Because it’s soooo good, I always come here and don’t want it to become more expensive and overcrowded. Special thanks for Sukma - she was extremely helpful with everything- she even organized amazing sunrise private boat. And she was so nice and attentive to every detail, we felt so vip with her, she solve any our request immediately. Everything was fantastic

Sukma, the manager, is the best! She helped us arrange everything we needed during our stay. Very nice place, clean, comfortable. Large rooms. Good breakfast. You can rent great bikes at the hotel. Would come back! It’s not that close to the bars and restaurants, and also you need to walk 2km or take a horse from the pier when you get to the island. It can be a little noisy from neighbor rooms since the walls are kind of like a tent, but it wasn’t a problem at all.

The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Highly recommend!
