The location and the extra fan in the wardrobe were the only redeeming qualities of this hotel. It was dirty, staff were not present when you went looking for them, it’s in desperate need of a renovation, the ratings on booking are incredibly inflated.

The location was good as expected right next to queen street station. The room size was good The breakfast was appalling, cheap catering sausages, powdered scrambled egg, no fried eggs, really poor selection if you wanted a continental type breakfast. No Restaurant facilities in the evening. Not possible to open the windows a few millemeters so the room was extremely stuffy. This place is miles away from its hey day when used to stay, its more like a b&b with one of the worst breakfasts you can get.

I liked being near the train station and the shops. Unfortunate that the renovations in George Square are not finished. Breakfast was good but I did not like the unpeeled fruit on offer.
-
Not much dated Road work by George’s square closed off every where going on all the time shame price didn’t reflect the inconvenience

Great location and staff were really nice . Hotel very dated looked very worn needs updated
-
specifially booked a hotel with parking, was not notified until too late to book elsewhere that construction going on at property. Had to park several blocks away, manage luggage on hills, a lot of construction noise. Hotel very dated, breakfast buffet stale and poor quality.
