Beautiful place. After a long flight we were able to relax immediately. The view and the surrounding grounds aloud us to feel totally calm.

Entering the hotel was like opening a time capsule, in a good way. The art and sculptures are remarkable. The hotel is outside of Montreaux, accessible by the cog train, so the views over manicured lawns of the lake are magnificent. The pool was lovely and the staff were all unfailingly friendly. The breakfast was superb. The room was spotlessly clean and large. We did not eat dinner at the restaurant because the price was very high. Smoking is allowed in the outside area so there is a lingering smell of smoke.

The old fashioned room was fantastic and had also a good view. The garden and pool area are beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent both in terms of location and food. The room bathroom could use some renovation. There is no AC in the hotel and we needed to ask for a fan since it got pretty hot even in June. The lobby and sitting area is a collection of old (not antique) pieces that are casually positioned in a very cluttered setting: it needs some redesign badly. The hotel is very expensive but, I suppose, that goes for everything in Switzerland. BTW, the city of Montreux is overrated.

The hotel is very nicely situated and very elegant. It's a beautiful experience. Staff is very warm and welcoming. One thing to consider is not to put option about 2 beds vs 1 Queen bed, because I was told there are only a couple of rooms with those caracteristics. Also beds are not comfortable. Unfortunately, noisy neighbours can keep you up long as the isolation is not terrible.

It’s style is old fashioned classy and kept in pristine condition. One of the most beautiful hotels I have had the privilege to stay on Views are spectacular
