Toilet waste bin was more aged than the caves and highly unhygienic with arrogant host.

Confotable and beautiful view on the balcony The bathroom was dirty; The room had a strange smell (as if it had been closed up for many days).

I loved lots about it how it’s very cave, properly has most things, and there’s a jet tub in the room. Also easy to walk to many places it’s all very close by. The staff there are very friendly and accommodating. There could’ve been more in the room and daily cleaning room service without request. The room could be a little more cleaned up. Overall it was good. And the breakfast could be a little better.

A very tasty and complete breakfast. A unique experience in a cave. Very comfortable Clean Great views from the terrace. Well located with a viewpoint nearby The bathroom wasn't in very good condition, but they offered us a room change because of it (which we didn't take, because although not in good condition, it was usable)

Nice service and a nice place to stay, even bíter at night

We had and interesting experience in this hotel as it’s actually in the cave. The outside look of it is very beautiful. Great personnel: we are very thankful for Ahmet for helping us and offering us a great balloon tour, which we really enjoyed. The room is very spacious. The breakfast wasn’t a buffet type, but still quite a good one. We lacked a little bit more options of warm food. The woman in the kitchen was very welcoming It was a good option for one night stay The room wasn’t perfectly clean (I noticed dust under the tv, a bit dirty glasses). Since it’s a cave room the ventilation there is not very good, we could feel it was a bit damp. The state of the bathroom wasn’t new

We had a wonderful stay at Asteria Cave Hotel. The hotel was exceptionally neat and clean, which made our stay very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Room service was excellent—everything was handled promptly and with great care. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the city centre of Göreme, with everything just a short walk away. It’s only about 5 minutes on foot to reach the main town area, and even the famous sunset point is just a 5-minute walk, making it very convenient to explore and enjoy the views. The kitchen staff truly stood out as well; they were always warm, welcoming, and greeted us with genuine smiles every day. It really added a personal touch to our experience. A special thanks to Ahmed at the reception, who made our trip even more memorable. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. Ahmed gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to visit in Göreme, which helped us make the most of our time there. He also arranged tours for us at better prices than what we found in the city, which we really appreciated.? Overall, a fantastic experience—we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia! ? Nothing to complain about it. Just a suggestion, coffee at the breakfast could be better with real milk instead of powder packets..

Our stay at Asteria Cave Hotel was truly unforgettable. The entire experience had such a peaceful charm, with authentic cave-living vibes that made it feel both unique and incredibly relaxing. A special mention to Ahmet at the reception—he was extremely helpful, spoke excellent English, and was always available on call whenever we needed anything. His support really made our stay smooth and comfortable. The breakfast prepared by the kitchen staff was absolutely delicious. What made it even more special was that each meal felt personally prepared just for us—it genuinely gave a warm, home-like feeling. The location is perfect as well. Göreme Viewpoint is just nearby, and the town center is only about a 3-minute walk, making everything easily accessible. We still can’t forget this amazing stay—especially the hot tub, which the kids absolutely loved! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable experience in Cappadocia.

Amazing especially the staff Ahmet is so friendly and the location is perfect Amazing?

It’s a beautiful property, but the room I booked had a leaking in the bathroom that would keep it wet all the time. The bathtub was dirty when I tried to use. However this is a “cave hotel” for budget travelers considering the other cave hotels are more expensive. So I would still book it again! :) staff was really nice and breakfast was great as well!

It was a real cable hotel! Set up on the hillside with fabulous views over the lit up town at night. Good breakfast! Nothing really. It is somewhat old and some things were broken. Not a problem for us but no five star p,ace! Good value, great staff and a wonderful town in goreme!
-
Great property! A lot of stairs but it is what you have to deal with if you want to stay at a cave hotel.
-
I liked nothing about this property. The first site is that it’s overgrown and in bad shape and the rooms are horrific! There’s black mold in the bathroom and our room flooded and we were told that they would refund 50% of our payment even though we left and didn’t stay there I didn’t like anything about the property. The breakfast in the morning is in a dark dingy room that’s full of cats all over the place. It was disgusting everywhere!

It’s a real cave room but not as enclosed as some other cave rooms thanks to the window. It’s a very lovely property with a few levels. Breakfast is exceptional good with many varieties of food. It’s convenient to book hot air balloons with the staff. A shared parking lot and street parking are available. The shower head holder is broken so we had to hold it all the time. There is no shelf to hold shampoo and shower gel when showering.
